See it for what it is. This is easily one of Wanyama's worst games for us. He should have come off and Dier stayed on. Poor choice by Poch.
CM has been the issue today. Terrible control when the passes/tackles are pinging around, and AVB 2013-14 when they decided to sit back.
Worst possible way to lose that. Need a massive win at Wembley next week to put this behind us or the psychological pressure will start to suffocate us.
It's going to take a while to make this place home. When you think about it, Chelsea have played there twice since we last did.
Piss poor all round. If we're going to have any kind of decent season, we need to sort out two things: 1. Get shot if this nonsensical psychological Wembley barrier and get a big home win ASAP 2. Kane to get his scoring season to start before November
Worst possible game to have had as our first at wembley. One of 2 teams that ALWAYS turn up against us. The wembley hoodoo continues. So frustrating as they were terrible and somehow we lost. Really bad result. We need some pace in attack, I'm fed up of watching us have no answers to a parked bus, and trying the same old **** but only ever getting half chances. Another example today of how we have nothing on the bench except Son.
So why are you going on about it ?? Pochettino was correct : if we do not play well at home we will not win. We did not play well today. We lost.
On the bright side we did have the chelski scum on the rack second half but that's football .we didn't deserve to lose but chelski unfortunately defended really well. On another day we could have come out with a win.onwards and upwards COYS
Hopefully Mr Levy is watching and realises why it's important to get your transfer business sorted early!
not well enough..that's correct we are not paying attention to the details and as they say 'the devil is in the detail' need to be switched on every ****ing second and not celebrating mentally like job done im fuming
Yes because the players clearly showed nerves and apprehension. So many misplaced passes, caught in possession, second best in 50/50's. That wasn't a WHL performance.
So we fans have to stop any thoughts of a Wembley hoodoo and just stay behind the team. And while Sissoko is in the squad he deserves our support too.
