Nice .... , you guys might want to start a poll to see who can guess when you lose a game , only the top two teams are undefeated besides Leeds . Also , only allowing 2 goals in the first 4 games sees a Bartleyless defence functuning quite nicely .

just back from SoL, what a superb result ... the Wood news was a bit deflating before the game but understand why the clubs wouldn't want him to play the day before his Burnley medical ... that said, it is clear that TC has a very united and committed dressing room, and it showed in a thoroughly professional and fighting display

my Mackem bud who I went with is pretty deflated, not with the loss but with the grind ... he was surprised that Grayson went and signed Vaughan from Bury to get the goals this season, I can see why ... defensively they were pretty shaky as well, and I reckon Wood in this match would have scored a couple

Leeds today are a far cry from last season, the speed with which they get forward in numbers and cause problems for defenders is breathtaking ... Alioski is some player, and he is only going to get better ... he had their left back on toast all game, and it was no surprise the lad got frustrated and resorted to kicking Super Alioski

Saiz is a player, and his movement and touches were class ... this boy is going to be some player for Leeds, his ability to link play and stretch defences is something to see, and he gives the team confidence going forward ... makes Pablo look pedestrian, but his presence has made Pablo work harder for sure

Cooper is a rock, and he was simply faultless ... alongside Pontus he is playing with confidence, but more importantly the way Leeds are playing now means he has an out ball most times so there's a lot more calmness to his play ... he is a leader, his players follow him willingly and he clearly has their respect

the down side was the injuries to Ekuban and Pablo, like we need these right now ... Ekuban can play, raw pace and an excellent touch, he is going to develop into a special player as well ... pleased for Dallas getting a goal, he works hard and like Phillips, Cooper and O'Kane looks a different player under TC

in TC we seem to have a manager who understands how to get the best from his players, and who plays to win ... the camp looks a happy one with everyone pulling together ... losing Wood on an away matchday could not have been easy, yet the team performed as if nothing had happened

Sunderland will hold their own in this league, but they need more creativity and a goalscorer to threaten the top six ... it was disappointing to see so many empty seats, but that seems to be the norm now as their supporters vote with their feet ... their owner needs to have a rethink to get their supporters to return, but as it stands this looks unlikely with mid-table beckoning for them

for Leeds there is reason to be optimistic, but a lot is going to depend on who replaces Wood up front ... may well be a good move to use the money on bringing in two strikers ... let's see what happens, but for now a solid away win and another clean sheet leaves me tired but happy

Howya Billy...........thought you were only responding in one word responses.......

Great report Billy. My young lad had booked flights but couldn't get a ticket, even his season ticket holding mate didn't get one. So he watched the game in Leeds. Maybe they should have tried to buy one up there on the day. Glad you had a good day...<ok>

That was the most proud I have been of a Leeds team since I can remember.

We played with skill. passion and dignity. Not once did we deliberately foul, shirt pull or impede an opponent. Yet we competed for every ball, won our fair share of tackles and only conceded nine fouls in the whole game.

All the players, coaching staff and management deserve huge credit for transforming our club over the last few months.

I was ****ting myself the way sunderland began, they were quick, closed down, but then we took over. But I still got nervous with 6 mins injury time, one goal back and we could have drawn it. Bring on the Forest<ok>

Know what you mean Shaks...I only allowed myself the luxury of celebrating when there was about 30 seconds of stoppage time left.

Maybe we're not the old Leeds anymore...we're the new Leeds !

    Options on strikers
    1. Get lassoga on loan which means the Wood cash sits waiting for January window. Lassoga will cost less than £2m next summer
    2. Use Orta's network to find one or two Wiki players as Chippy puts it, but Saiz, Klich, Alioski, Felix were all Wiki players yet pretty good.
    3. End up using the likes og McGreedy or Gayle. There are no players who can score 30 goals in this league available, unless we unearth one or use a greedy twat

We started slowly in the last match against Fulham too. First 20mins we let them savage us so Tommy needs tomsort that otherwise one of these days we may end up conceding early doors.

Wood had a great season with us, but he was really our main forward, so everything about the set up on the pitch was about him. We now have more players who can score for us. I couldn't care if we have a 30 0r 10 goal scorer this season, once we can score and win games.<ok>
