    I remember at the Dell a few moons ago, we went 2-0 up against Chelsea and they came back to 2-2. Their fans starting singing "Two nil and you ****ed it up" to us, just like the WHU fans today. James Beattie then won in the last minute with a cracking free kick. Weird thing was when the WHU fans sung it today, I thought of that game and told my mate about it.

    Karma is a nice thing.

    I thought Fonte played well, certainly in the 2nd half. Easily their best defender, I thought. Several times when we got forward, Fonte was the man in the right place to snuff us out. Given an apparent complete lack of organisation around him, I thought he stood out at the back for them.

    Yeah, I saw that. I also saw someone, a young lad I think, being tackled by stewards in the corner of the Itchen/Chapel, but I guess that must have been a Saints fan.

    Stating the bloody obvious I know but CBs work as a pair (ok 3 at the back sometimes) and Fonte had a couple of really good pairings at Saints. Though they actually have some good players at WHU they've not sorted out a pair that worktogether well imo. The idiot must look at Jack and think "he would've extended my career by a year or two".

    It's all so bloody unnecessary. I mean wtf is he doing at West Ham? If he was at Man Utd, or god forbid Liverpool, I'd say fair enough, have the payday, have the chance of glory. But West Ham? Do they pay that much more than we offered him? So sad.

    I thought that was the preserve of Millwall fans. I thought West Ham fans were gentlemanly and only have their spats against Chelsea, Spurs, Millwall, Cardiff, Leeds and Birmingham.

    Just got home. Great match to watch. Really thought we'd given away 2 points until the pen. Chuffed with the win and some of the play was great. A bit disorganised at times. lemina getting to grips with those around him, but potentially a very classy player.

    Right, well the only decision that Mason got wrong in my view was not to send Noble off. West Ham fans can shut up.

    (Although there was no replay of Fonte holding Gabbi to the ground at one of our corners. I called a penalty for that)
