Fair play to you Billy, TBH I thought we'd be down a few goals the way you'se started off. Have a good season, until your visit to ER...
Richard Stainbank @rstainbank Comfortably beaten by a Leeds team who won't do anything this season. It's a long way back to the top #safc He happenings to be getting a lot of **** right now
There's a few nearly had my ****ing arm off, Fair play to Billy the Bastard and Rooch 3, they know how all this **** works
Tbh mate, before a ball was kicked I predicted a mid table finish. My opinion hasn't changed. I think we'll be spending a few seasons in this league. I'm a realist, a few on our board would call that negative but I don't give a ****. I call things as they are & the stark reality is that our club is in the **** & stuck with a **** of an owner. Hopefully we can use the next 2 or 3 seasons to properly rebuild & progress. If we did go up this season, more than likely, we'd be straight back down.
It's what football fans do mate - take the piss out of each other when the chance is there. I have absolutely no problem with that whatsoever. Hope you enjoyed the day.
Cheers Billy, its only a bit of fun, we used to get a mackem called Smoggy or something a few years back on here and the old BBC606 on the wind up, he was a right ****, I was actually trying to hook him but ended up with a few others who cant see a piss take if it slapped them round the chops Good luck for the rest of the season mate
Nee bother fella. I can get a bit stroppy when I'm pissed mind, lol. I think I've had about seven bans now. More red cards than Roy Keane & I couldn't give a donkey's dangler.
7 ****ing bans, i'm in awe mate, i'm not worthy, even our very own knobhead Glory can't achieve that and he's a right ****, ask anyone on here, they'll tell ye That fella Bri606 is a bit tender on your board mate
The biggest thing to take from today is we started with no Wood, Hernandez gets injured early and we have the choice of Roofe, Dallas and Sacko to come on. I think Roofe was good when he came on, Dallas is in the form of his life and glad he got the goal he deserved after pre season. Anita brilliant at left back replacing berardi, whole defence looking really strong, confidence growing in the keeper, looked cool as you like the whole game. Last 10 minutes Klich came off the bench and I went '**** I forgot about him,' if he is anything like the other new signings our midfield will be the strongest in the league, to think Viera and Bridcutt not even getting a look in. This must be the strongest squad we have had since the days of the Premier league with 5 strikers. I honestly think Alioski and Saiz will tear this league apart, the way they are playing, with the confidence they have, a 10 goal striker will get us in the playoffs. If I was a striker on the preriphery of a premier league side I would be chomping at the bit to get a loan move to Leeds with those boys playing, an average striker will get 15 -20 goals a season because of them.
Wee bit too much to drink, but I am excited about this side. I only made it to one match last season and it was the Preston game at home, 3-0 win that 'guaranteed' us the play offs. The passion the players showed that day made me think we were on our way back to the big time. To see the boys we have brought in this year show the same passion but also have the ability makes me think we are a lot stronger this year. Wood will be a big loss, he is a difficult one because I have always rated him, before he signed for Leeds but last year he was nearly gone. For us to react the way we did today I think is massive and shows if we can get in a top striker we will make top 2. Fingers crossed the board keeps up the good work
Brian's bipolar mate, proper ****ing heed the ball. He's kicked off with just about every regular. You don't know how he's gonna be from one post to the next let alone day to day. The least bit thing sets him off. He kicked off with me last week over one comment that was in no way aimed at him. What followed was a tirade of personal abuse & nowt was done about it because he has issues. I know he has mental health problems yet he took the piss out of me for having PTSD. He's a ****ing prick imo fella.
Always been a good player and sat with his missus once at a game, couldn't tell you who it was between, she is fitter than a fit thing
As a tee teetotaler..... Like I say bud, good comments. We started as expected under the cosh, but we took control and deserved the win. Delighted with the work rate of our foreign players. Dallas I've always rated, sick of the abuse he sometimes gets. Our supporters were as normal fantastic. 8 points compared to 4 points last season...roll on forest
TC thought he held the ball up well and had a good game, I must admit he didn't do anything to impress me. I couldn't help thinking early on that a few of the crosses that were put in would have resulted in a goal had an inform Wood been playing. The stage is set to see how good Lagossa is, I don't see we have much of an option after the Wood fiasco.
