This is a team lacking Lallana Coutinho and Salah from the off while handicapped by an off colour Henderson.

Got to admit Coutinho has really destabilized the team's preparation as we are making do until a resolution on his position is found.

 

Big 3 points!!

Played so much better once we got Firmino central. Nice cameo from Salah which really helped us stretch their defence.

Happy for Robertson and Gomez - Robertson didn't have much to do defensively but he was really good going forward. Gomez didn't offer much going forward but was solid defensively.

Matip was excellent - maybe it helped having Klavan next to him.

Midfield was garbage.

Salah mane Firmino is the holy trinity. Keep them together.

Two important wins on the bounce. Let's keep it going.

 

I got on just after kick off and had a complete picture for the whole game, except for about 30 seconds when the dude who was streaming it walked in front of screen as he was refreshing it! Put through my telly via a HDMI lead,and it was as good as a non-HD picture @ 10 years ago. Really pleased - thanks again.

I am hoping, although I might be optimistic, that players are being lined up, but they want to see if we qualify for CL before joining us. It is a faint hope, but you never know.

Fingers crossed, but I can't see that being the reason that VVD ain't here yet (or Keita). Maybe Mbappe is just loitering with intent...

 

But until 1/9/17, it just might. I am not saying it will be VVD or Keita, but might be others we do not know about. Like Messi!!!!!!!

 

My guess is that we'll see more activity if/once we confirm CL qualification.

 

Nothing going on until the second half, we started it really lively.

Was just important to get 3 points today and a clean sheet will do no harm!! Robertson played really positively which was great to see.

In the end, 6/10 performance but 3 points in the bag with a mixed up team

I actually think Klopp was trying things out as well so all in all good result
