    So..

    Robertson.. decent showing. No real challenge to him so he could go all day.

    Mingolet. Did his job.

    Gomez. Decent. No pressure on him.

    Klavan. One real bad error. Got rolled and benteke should have scored... otherwise marshalled benteke easily. In his pocket.

    Matip. Easy game.

    Henderson. Braindead. Drop back lad.. jesus.

    Windy.. meh.

    Milner did a job. Helped robertson. If moreno does ever think he might just be wondering why the others never helped him like this in the first two games.

    Sturridge. Legs gone. No pace.

    Firmino. In and out. Needs space.

    Mane. Brilliant once he got on it.

    Solanke. No opinion. Not had much. Worked for side.

    Salah. Injected pace which is what we need.

    Lovren.. reaction sub.

    Palace never pressured him and milner enabled a fine performance. Better shape from the team and a positive mentality on show.

    Its just midfield zone. Milner was best of them... need guile in there. Henderson screens nothing and windy just frustrates by playing safe.

    That's a good result. I don't care about the performance. Now just get through against hoffenheim, add a couple of players and get on with the season.

    Bearing in mind the team we put out was not our strongest due to injuries, a CL game on Wednesday, and a sulking Brazilian (that is not a new down under haircut) I am happy with the 3 points.
