yeah, they look good against poor opposition, especially when they're let off red cards and given phantom free-kicks. A decent team will punish them though, playing teams with small squads and their best players missing is making them look a lot better than they are.

Fernandez is just not good enough. Why can't Clement see this? We need a new CB, CM, AM, RW, LW and CF

 

Scoreline is a bit harsh though. We've dealt well with them for majority of the match. Three goals in 3 mins skewed the scoreline.
I just hope this forces some action in the transfer market.

 

I forecast this score on BBC Predictor, so I get 40 points. No consolation though.

 

Score was harsh, as a team I thought we matched them for long periods but we fell apart as soon as the bench was utilised. We are far too weak up front to get anything out of games, last week we had no shots on target and this week I dont think their keeper had to make a save, did he?.

Our squad is getting shallower and shallower, arguably we don't even have 11 quality premier league players to start games and if we do then that's where the quality ends. We have absolutely no bench to win us games, defend leads of even cover injury. Not knocking him but Ollie McBurnie should be out on loan not playing Manchester Utd.

Final analysis is simple, beaten by better players. Can we go buy Bony now?

Scoreline highlighted the gulf in quality though. I mean, bringing on Routs and Narsingh to accommodate a young kid and Ayew up front says it all.

Feel for Clement because he could do great things with a decent squad.

 

Bartley played well today. My only criticism of Clement is that he should have taken off Mawson or the other donkey at CB.

Clement is getting a lot of stick for his substitutions today, I see it as him showing the board that we have no quality options at all.

 

I think had we kept the original formation we might have held it at 0-1, but in a attempt to get an equaliser we switched to 442, the game got stretched and when you give Utd space on breakaways, well, we all know the result.

Llorente back and some re-inforcements before the window closes will make us look a stronger outfit.
