    You can never lose with a clean sheet...the more the better. A good basis for a season as you will win a lot of games if the opposition can't score. It has been a strength of ours previously. Scoring during preseason shows that it is not an impossibility that we will score again.

    This is one of those imponderable issues - my good lady always points out a team that has scored 3 goals, even when they concede more, and says 'That must have been entertaining'. This is difficult to argue with (mostly because I married for better or worse), but would losing 4-3 attract larger crowds than drawing 0-0?

    Everyone wants their team to win, but not losing should be more important than being entertaining, so I would take a 0-0 draw over any sort of loss (just don't tell my wife) :bandit:

    And if Saints scored 3 goals but lost, would you watch on MOTD? I wouldn't, whereas I watched our draw because I knew we'd played well.

    I'd like to be magnanimous and wish you good luck today, but I'm not magnanimous so I hope you lose 25-0.

    TBH I'd take a performance from West Ham today after last Sunday's pathetic showing, only 3 players bothered showing up for most of it, Noble Hernandes and Zabaletta. We were so awful we made Pogba look like he was actually worth £50m. A bit of organisation in defence wouldn't go amiss, wouldn't mind Rice being given the full 90, he has more positional sense and intuition than the rest of the defence put together.
