We already had the advantage with being at home and Leeds apparently being decimated with injuries in defence but even more so now.
Yet a mother brilliant MD thread I've gone for a home win -no defeats yet. I reckon Rodwell will immediately shed himself of that winnless elephant off his back in the feeder league and will score the winner.
Couple of decent interviews with Grayson and Honeyman on Northern Echo site, I'd post links but I can't be arsed.
Don't think he's starting but is fit so I think he'll be on the bench and SG will bring him on later (hopefully not too later ) and Bobs your uncle with a Rodwell headed goal .... Got to be positive as his movement at times on the pitch shows he's got talent.
That 'elephant' refers to games that he starts, you know, so sub. appearances wouldn't count . . . . so he'd still be stuck with the heavylump on his back even if he did score and we won Unless I'm wrong about that, of course, but that's what I believe
Thanks my memory is playing up with detail, probs to much Grayson Positivity. As long as he scores the winner or ends up on our winning team that's fine.
I think technically he no longer has that record because we won a game last season that he started although he went off injured.
Voted for a Home Win!! 3-1 to the Lads. Hope Vaughan gets one of them. His graft deserves a break in front of goal. Bart FTM & The Northumbria Police
