Another week with absolutley **** all in the way of progress made to at least sign a left back The only positive i take is ehab generally has given up due to selling the club
I don't think he is intent on selling the club, I think he is intent of getting as much cash as he can out of the club and watching us drop down the leagues
Not sell any more would be a start. it is for us exaggerate much? But if we're being unsentimental about it and we need the squad space, then unregister Dave and Mason until January at least. We're bound to have a couple more long term injuries by then freeing up some spots. sounds like gibberish to me. If we have the depth in an area, then it's not a crisis surely?
Hes a businessman he wants to get as much money as he can for the club watching it fall down the leagues is cutting his own throat, hes an idiot but hes a greedy idiot
It seems that there's a fair few clubs scrambling around for players. Hardly unsurprising when someone like Clucas is going to cost you more than £15m. Striker wise, there's still a tonne of domestic options who would probably cost less than £10m. Ulloa, Afobe etc.
We're light in defence, other than the lack of a left back (and personal opinion a right back, as Hyena is ****), the defence is fine. We have about 10 midfielders and 4 strikers, more than ample depth, yet we're wondering who's going to play in those positions and who will be able to sit on the bench.
Bournemouth paid £10m for Afobe and he started on Saturday, you'd be lucky to get him for £20m. Ulloa might be more realistic, but he'd probably cost well over £10m now as well.
Afobe only started as Defoe has a niggling groin injury. You wouldn't have to pay £20m for him either, don't be daft. He only got 6 last year.
Some of these prices being paid for Championship players are obscene!! About 5 years ago they were premiership player prices. Albeit not the top of the shelf, but premiership just the same.
If Chris Wood is north of £20m, and he is unproven at PL level, I dread to think where that places Afobe. £20m might be low side.
I'm aware the final decisions on who stays and who goes at Real Madrid are not made by Zidane, but that wasn't the claim, the claim was that Zidane was like Slutsky and wouldn't know if there were bids in or not, which is bollocks. I can post you dozens of links to Zidane's targets if you like?
Dropping down the leagues would end up costing him rather than create cash He'l be gone soon hes given up just cashing in now
Anybody no why the club have not put the mangers press conference on tigers tv??? He really sounds unhappy with the situation so I'm guessing they don't want people to see it.
Defoe's 34, he's now going to play every game, why on earth would they get rid of his back up on the cheap, they'd only have to replace him?
Just taking the strikers as an example: Abel (knackered long term) Dio (3 goals in 15 appearances when last in the Championship) Keane (knackered long term) Bowen (grafter, but still a kid) Luer (kid, injury prone) Campbell (not yet fit enough for 90 minutes twice a week) I would not call that a deep selection.
Depends which way you look at it. Afobe ain't good enough for the PL. It's the chance for them to get their money back and invest it in someone else. Also Defoe's played over 30 league games in the last two years. He'll be managed correctly and play the vast majority of games for them.
You name me the clubs that have two star strikers like we do. Then the clubs that have one. And the clubs that don't have any. Never mind 3.
