Mike White @mikewhitesport With suggestions today Swansea are willing to go to £15m for Sam Clucas, sources tell me Hull City have now rejected a £12m offer. #hcafc
Let's ignore the matter of whether or not it will be reinvested or not. £15m or £20m for Sam Clucas is utterly ****ing absurd. I like him as a centre mid but ****ing hell.
Philip Buckingham @PJBuckingham Hull City have rejected a £12m offer from Swansea City for midfielder Sam Clucas #hcafc
So if it all goes tits up the people behind assembling the squad will take responsibility right? No they'll sack the 'head coach' cos it's all his responsibility after all...
I expect to get shot down in flames here but given the ****ish behavior from ehab in the past, £12 mil is a stupid price for Clucas and yet he has rejected it when I am sure many would of expected him to accept that, kinda says something surely? although I have to say £15 mil if that offer comes in he has to go. we could get 2 half decent Stewart type players for that. and possibly a LB
Are our head scout and head of recruitment chappy unable to find a replacement/replacements using the money for Clucas? Get them up to 15 million up front and let him go.
Wow. So he's saying that we have squad depth because the game doesn't get abandoned until you only have 6 players on the pitch? Guess we are going for a starting 7 who can't put a tackle in.
There'd be a case of overcrowding. We have more players in our treatment room than fans left in the East stand.
I think Silva has repaid his wages in spades (for the owners at least). He's got them about £15m extra for Maguire and it looks like about £10m extra for Clucas.
No. The Neymar deal has heightened prices. Everybody wants more now. And it's not just "Sky" money. BT pay a hefty sum too.
I think exorbitant prices started before that deal. Calling it sky money is just a phrase for money from TV rights, it's not literally all money coming from sky..
