With two Prem clubs after Bullard, he won't be out of work for long. Although since he's been a complete tosser I would hold his registration untill his contract expiry date.

But with P Buckingham saying that hopefully some of the cash will be spent on wages it could be interesting to see what develops in the next two weeks.

Surely we're still paying him, at least until any appeal process is seen to?

Doubt it as he has been sacked.

He's been told we intend to sack him. That's all.

Nowhere on that quote does it say he has left the club, or more importantly, the payroll.

He's had his contract terminated, we will cease paying him the minute it comes into effect.

I assume that will be one month after he was notified of our intention to cancel it, which certainly wasn't today.

I suspect we have timed this so we will still pay him and hold his registration until after the window has closed, so if he wants us to allow him to move to a Premier League club, then he'll have to agree not to pursue any claim.

    It does actually:

"I can confirm that the Club has given notice to terminate the contract of Jimmy Bullard. Mr Bullard has a right of appeal"

That is not a notice period - it is the legal term for the document given to him to terminate the contract. The right of appeal is the right to appeal the decision to dismiss him

Hardly a sackable offense, he should stick around and suck up some more 50k's from you if you ask me.

correct OLM. ive been saying this for ages. the Allams know what they are doing and i would suggest that the PFA will also find it hard to back any further action Bullard may wish to take. i would suggest the PFA would tell Bullard to let it go and move on. time will tell as always. but Buckinghams HDM carries the headline..No more money to Bullard. GOOD.

If I were the Allams, I would tell Jimmy that if he wants his player registration, then he can buy it off the club for say 35,000 a week for three years!
