Newcastle United are putting the final building blocks of their relegation season in place by asking radged-off midfielder Joey Barton to stay, and getting Robert Green to stand on their goalline doing whatever it is he does for a living.

So they are saying you will be relegated.

What do you guys have to say about this?

Oh, and Liverpool fan in peace, I like you guys, this isn't a wind up.

I laughed at radged-off. It's a load of bollocks but at least it's funny bollocks for a change.

'Fulham want West Ham striker Can't Control. Andy Johnson will go the other way, presumably making off with the ball.'

Erm, is this a wind up?

I know journalists on Fleet Street have no respect for NUFC (because we are so far north we may as well be on the north pole) and treat all fans with utter contempt (probably because they have never actually met any and only know about them through stories and legend), but this is beyond anything that's acceptable.

This is a disgrace. Would go as far as NUFC need to take some action against this tripe spewing c*nt. Who do they think they are?!

I post an artical here the other day declairing my sympathy for Barton and saying Arsenal were a discrace for the way they treated him.

This is not a wind up (though reading that made me smirk).

After giving us Carroll and Enrique I have to love you guys.

I think you should sign Peter Crouch btw, just my thought.

TBF getting Rob Green (as long as he didnt play) would be a worthy price to pay if we got to keep Barton for the rest of his career

Peter Crouch is great. A target man to replace Carroll, knocking those balls down for Ben Arfa and Marveux. Great team playing.

Firstly Crouch isnt an effective target man, secondly we're looking to play it on the ground this season (what with the pacy/technical players we've signed) and thirdly, the guy's too old.
