Lord of the Rings is the grandfather of Fantasy, but of the movies, only the first one is watchable. The second and third are boring as **** (except the Helms Deep battle at the end of the second one). I made the mistake of going to the cinema to watch the third film and about 3 hours in I wanted to kill myself I was that ****ing bored. If you dont like Game of Thrones you either A) Don't like fantasy, which is fair enough B) Don't like watching TV shows, slightly alien to me, but oh well, have a good life or C) Are a hipster **** who just doesn't like it because everyone else does, in which case, eat **** and die.

Yeah, watched the whole thing. Pretty good show, hesitated for years watching it because its a HBO drama set in a Male prison, so you just know there will be lots of rape. Watched it, and I was right, ****ing horrible, but the story is just about good enough to look past that. Its good.
Sex? the **** has sex got to do with it? Season 1 had a lot of ****ing in it, season 2 a little less, season 3 hardly any, and since then there has been next to none.
I thought the same, I forced myself into series 3 after declaring bullshit in the first two series. My brother said to me it gets better in the 3rd series so I persevered. I still wouldn't say it lives up to the hype that some people give it, but it's pretty good. I'm convinced I only watch it for Emilia Clarke now, she's fresh.
Season 1 had a lot of sex, but they werent integral to the plot, its just that a lot of the scenes took place in Brothels (the one in Winterfell and the Littlefingers Brothel in Kings Landing), but since then, there has been very few. I am a little worried that @Spurlock hates Game of Thrones for showing tits, yet is hyping up a show set in a prison with guys bumming each other (Oz is a good show tho )
I feel like it's getting better now the kids have grown up. The lad that plays Ivar is one of the best actors I've seen, evil crippled genius. GoT is just too mythical for my liking. If you took the dragons and walking dead out of it, I'd probably like the show. The fights scenes on ones I've seen have been good but I saw the episode the other day where the dragon basically obliterated all in it's path and that ruins it for me, had the Arabian cavalry and the English/ Roman hybrids had it out, it would've been good battle to watch I reckon.
if you read the convo from beginning you will see what sex has got to do with it i dont like mixing sex with a good story line, i dont need it..i know they are ****ing, i dont care for seeing it. i'll say it again, there's PornHub for that. hehe i love titties as much as the next man but GOT is famed for it and a focal point of the whole show it seems..rarely is that programme mentioned without the mention of the sex in it...naah for me its focus is all wrong...not for me.
Thats bollocks. There was probably a couple of gratuitous scenes in the first season which were unnecessary, but its HBO. The sex isnt integral to the plot and saying you can use Pornhub is great, but only relevant if you are watching GoT to Jack off, which most people arent. Its the second best TV show ever made, after the Wire.....without doubt. Might even be first if the next (and final) season is as good as the previous ones. Take this latest season, I dont think there has been a single sex scene or hardly any nudity at all.
