When they come to Anfield they cannot afford to sit back, they need to come forward and attack which will make them vulnerable.

All we need to do is score more than they do.![]()
In this specific game yes. I was just using it as a general (tongue in cheek) statement to counter all the analysis. Not quite right. All we need to do is to score the same as they do![]()

Every cloud, there is a silver linning Alexander-Arnold was the silver linning yesterday..
And here comes another cloud.... he was totally at fault for their goal.
TAA had a good game going forwards but at best average defensively imo .
If Clyne was fit wouldn't mind see him playing RCM .

agreedHe's only 18. Bags of potential![]()
Going forward - good.agreed
just pointing out lets not carried away with the defensive side of his game.
Going forward - good.
Defending - not so good.
Fits us perfectly.

It's true though, isn't it? Our entire team is attack minded.Rather MFGesque for you, saint![]()

Just out of interest, has anyone interviewed after the hoffenheim game, actually come out to say that we weren't great but the result is what counts?
I missed a lot of it as was away working. All I've seen is a few player interviews who don't even recognise that we have problems. I'd be a lot less concerned if JK or the players actually come out to say that we haven't clicked yet....we don't have our rythem etc etc.....but all I see is arrogant back slapping.
