Sunderland v Leeds Utd

Leeds make the 91 mile journey to the Stadium of Light on Saturday early evening for a showdown with Sunderland.

Similar to Leeds, Simon Grayson's men have won once (3-1 at Norwich) and drawn twice (1-1 against Derby, and same score line on Wednesday night at Hillsborough).

Surely, this must be the biggest fixture in the Championship?

Leeds will still be without Matthew Pennington at centre back. Christiensen will have to decide between shaughnessy and Cooper to replace him.

Similarly, Berardi is still out with a dislocated shoulder. The gaffer needs to decide between Borthwick Jackson and Anita at left back.

It will be interesting to see if TC selects the same midfield that battered Fulham on Tuesday night. Will he prefer Saiz to Roofe, or will Saiz replace Hernandez in the attacking midfielder role?

Surely this is going to be an absolute cracker. Hopefully we'll have some Mackems coming on to give their opinion...

Morning all. Great time of the season with two games per week. Damn international breaks soon of course to ruin all that. Looking forward to a few beers Saturday eve after work to watch what will surely be a belter. Judging by Sunderlands pathetic home crowd at their first home game, Id expect our fans to virtually turn this into a home game. Lots of selection headaches for TC but thats the way it should be at a top club like ours

Morning all. Looking forward to this one. Not sore of the capacity of the SoL, but I'm assuming we'll be taking north of 5k. So it should be noisy.

On who plays, I know we're away, but I'd quite like us to play 442 with Klich coming into add some steel to the midfield & 2 up front to give their back 4 a hard time. I'd play Cooper if he's fit because he has a bit more experience. In midfield, Saiz maybe a good option, but not sure TC will change the CM area.

Capacity is 49,000 mate.
Not sure how many tickets you've been allocated like.
Btw, most pubs nearby are away fan friendly so you can enjoy a few beers no problem.

Agree with Boggers we need Klich in and go for a fluid 4-4-2 the power and pace of Ekuban will complement Wood who is odds on to score at least 1. After all his ratio is 1 in 3 so due to score

Well a Grayson team will have no defence so 4-4-2 should be good. But is it Shocknessy or Cooper? I'd go for Cooper myself and Anita at LB

Defence has been pretty solid so far mate.
Last night, second half Sheff Wed threw everything at us but we stood firm until the blockbuster equaliser.
Keeper could do nowt about it. The lad just smacked it & it flew in.
Norwich tried the same late on but couldn't find a way through until one of our lads did it for them. <laugh>
Happy with things so far.

Did it make any sense last season Moyes coming in and saying your team were going to be relegated ?
That pissed a lot of people off. He's such a dour, negative, miserable twat.
Grayson has us playing some nice stuff.
It's nice to be in a league where we can actually compete instead of 10 years of struggle in the PL.

Chuffed to bits for Grayson he deserves a decent club again. If only Bates hadn't shat on him we would have done back to back promotions along with Southampton that season. saints are still doing well ffs.

Th big transfer news today though is I've had to make wholesale changes to my fantasy team <laugh>
