The club will not pay what seems reasonable prices for reasonable players. £8 Mill for Cissokho, Bite their fricking hands off, i'll go pick him up NOW!

No one would have been against players leaving i.e perch, smith, R.Taylor but no we still have the deadwood.

I could not wait for the start of the transfer window and in the first week or two looking at the signings we started to make I genuinely beleived we were in for a good solid season were we could cement a 7th or higher placed finish.

Im not worrying i support the boys and know that we will be fine but is it too much to want a bit more then fine. I thought we would have bought a LB in before the Arsenal Game, I though were'd have bought in a LB and a Stiker by the SMB game but No.

I know theres still 1 week and 6 days till the window closes but thats not that long, I just hate our inability to look at our squad and the money we have bought in and not think Hmmm maybe we need to just pay the prices quoted.

Granted its not my money because if it was I'd be spending Sheppard style and I kind of commend what Cashley's trying to do but just wake up and smell the cheese we do need 2-3 maybe four class players.

My fingers are well and truely crossed, HWTL

We need 1 striker and a LB. Maybe a CB but that's it, the team has quality and the youngsters look promising but if new signings are not made I will start to worry but atm i'm still optimistic.

  3. If we don't buy him i'll be pissed off. But no doubt the idiots that suck Ashley's cock because of his "sensible financial planning" will think he's right not to buy him and stick with Raylor or Perch.

Sometimes you need to spend money to get the right players. No we shouldn't chuck money around, but there's no reason we can't be spending some cash on quality, seeing as we've spent next to nowt so far.

Oh be quiet, complain if you have a reason to complain. Nothing has really happened yet, just a lot of paper talk recently. I still believe we'll have a decent left-back and striker in by the end of the window.

Plenty of reason to complain, Newcastle fans have been lied to by this board so many times it's pretty reasonable not to believe a ****ing thing that comes out of the mouths of Fat Mike, Dekka or Pardieu.

Well then I suggest to you sir that you are the one being unreasonable, a five second memory, have just awoken from a coma (sorry, but Blondie is no longer at number 1) or else you have just begun to support Newcastle United...

There is absolutely a reason to complain in my opinion. This has been the story under Stay Puft's tenure. We know we need players. The player's know we need players. The management know we need players. It's said that we'll see to the shortage before the window shuts. Nothing happens. We continue admirally for the rest of the season with said deficiancies. Rinse and repeat. The same deficiancies can continue for years. So forgive anyone not believing Ashley propaganda, for that is all Pardew spouts!

Absolutely a new left back and striker need to come in, won't argue about that for a second. But, I don't understand the fans who throw out prices as if they are the chairman of the selling club? Do you really know its as simple as offering 8 million for him? Was that the price quoted in a newspaper? Does the player want to leave his club? Does he want to come to Newcastle? What salary is he expecting?
Lets all stop pretending we know whats going on behind the scenes when in fact we don't have a clue.

If only football transfers were like they say it is on Fifa/FM. We as fans would live in a much nicer world.

Look we have to wait. Its not ideal we have not concluded all of our business. I think the club has been a bit slow on the two most important transfers of the window and it annoys me. But there are 2 weeks to go and the time to complain is September 3rd. If by then we have not signed a quality left back and quality striker, you will be correct. At the moment questionning why we haven't paid 8m for Cissokho based on what some half arsed report says is pointless. Don't get wrong he is an absolute bargain if that is the price and we'd be made not to pay it. However we don't really know, hell we don't even really know if he'd want to come (I suspect not) or they'd want to sell (again I suspect not).

I believe we can get by until the end of the month if necessary. Beyond that and yeah I'd be concerned too.

We need a LB and Striker as a minimum. We still need another CB and a reliable RB in my opinion. If Colo or Saylor get injured/suspended, Williamson isn't good enough in my view. Danny Simpson just cannot defend. Totally naive, and he ain't great going forward.

the most annoying thing is we aren't that short of a very good team. Its just those 4 players we need in key areas and we could have a good season.

You wouldn't think we had a shed load of funds come in would you.....?!

The most annoying part of the whole thing is the false promises! If there is no-one else coming in, just say so. I don't understand why they need to lie all of the time! Sooner or later, people will get fed up with this and stop supporting the club. (If last Saturday's attendance is anything to go by, this is already happening!)

That's exactly the reason to complain. It's not July anymore, the new season has started and we've spent **** all, we've actually made money. Someone (I think it was Chappaz) was saying we're probably keeping a chunk of the money back until January, what's the ****ing point in that? We have £40m+ in the coffers and holes in the squad that desperately need filling, and we're still selling players, it's an absolute farce, it's beyond that. At this rate we'll be trying to pick up free transfers in April when we're 19th with five games to go.
