Ok, so let's admit it, we're going into the derby without a left back. Great. Well let's not cry over that for too long, and let's decide how we do go into the game. I'm pretty sure that Raylor will go left back again, but that would seriously worry me. A natural right sided player gets sucked in, and that was obvious against Arsenal. Gervinho had too much space, and I think Elmohamady/Larsson would exploit that, getting down the line and crossing in. I unfortunately think we have only one option, someone who always plays on the left hand side - Jonas. I think he's the only person who can give us that tiny bit of balance.
    Krul
    Simmo Saylor Colla Jonas
    Barton Tiote Cabaye Obertan
    Ba Shola

Ryan Taylor is more than capable to play LB.

After all, he did for Wigan for years. Not a problem. Just need someone better for long term that all.

  4. So after Raylors good performance at LB vs a much tougher team, we drop him and play a bloke who we know is ****ing awful at fullback position anyway?

    Jonas is a terrible fullback.

I say either a new LB or Raylor.

Gosling can play LB. I still think that's worth a try, he is better than R.Taylor.

IF Raylor is left back then I'd go for this, but I think Pards bums over 4-4-2 and Ba

  13. It doesn't really matter where you put Cabaye, he's a box to box mid and will defend and attack <ok>

Keep Raylor at LB and Jonas will just have to keep covering him when Sunderland are in possession.

We lose some attacking options on the left with Jonas playing deeper and closer to Raylor but if we have Obertan on the right, we can use him as an outlet to get forward again.

Woah Woah Woah Woah! So I just happen to read an article that has been published on newsnow.co.uk called 'Leon Best and Obertan' stating how you would play Best up front because he's better than Shola and Demba Ba is crap........ And now you put Shola up front instead?!?!

    What is this?!
