I only follow Hotspur Related for Spurs news (along with Spurs Official of course). Not a journo but fair play to the kid for literally whoring every piece of Spurs news on the web. Of all the stories I ever see retweeted, it's often the Dutch/ Belgian media I believe the most. Often found them to be incredibly accurate with the Spurs related transfer news. Were easily 24-48 hours ahead of British press when announcing deals for Gomes, Vertonghen, Chadli and Eriksen.
As chelski usually muscle in on our transfer targets every year maybe we should make sissoko a new 5 year offer then the chavs might come in and take him off our hands
http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/tottenham-hope-complete-27m-deal-10993538 Mirror. Probably bullshit.
Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement with Paris St-Germain defender Serge Aurier, 24, who was a target for Manchester United. (L'Equipe, via IB Times) And Spurs are also optimistic of completing a deal for Ajax centre-back Davinson Sanchez, 21, for an initial £27m. (Daily Mirror) Now, that's more like it! Even if neither story holds any truth, at least we're being linked with decent players.
Credit to Daniel Levy. He's made us wait so long that if we signed an empty Pez dispenser at this point I'd be jumping for joy.
BBC gossip: Chelsea are lining up a £50m move to sign Tottenham Hotspur and England full-back Danny Rose, 27, after the player angered Spurs by criticising the club's transfer and wage policies. (Sun)
What's Argentinean for "all those leaving to join chelsea take one step forward...Danny, where the **** you going?"
If Rose has to go, then he goes overseas but not to a direct competitor. If he goes to Chelsea, as has Walker to Man City then I will be seriously f**ked off with the club. Strengthening other teams with arguably the two best full backs in England is unacceptable.
Anyone reckon that Barkley can now be got for a drop down price due to his injury? Initial reports reckon Everton went from £50m down to £35m but I think now that he's out for a few weeks and the fact they've signed Gylfi (and Klaasen), they're not in a position to be demanding big bucks for someone who's fallen down the pecking order with a year left on his deal and now injured. £20m possible? Over to you, Levy.
Yes, but he is then just an injured version of 2016-17 Sissoko. Any PL incomings IMHO have to be hitting the ground running on day 1.
