I don't get it CCJ, Villa and Wednesday ( perhaps others in this league ... Wolves? ) have spent far more than we ever have since having been in the Prem. I can't remember the last time Wednesday were in the top tier ( I can't be arsed to look it up but it must be 10 years or so ) yet we are being penalised. Our major signing is Chris Samba for £11m or thereabouts but it's ok for City to spend £45m on Walker as a fullback and the same again for cover?

The game has gone, and Chelsea fans were singing about that they need to spend more money this afternoon! This should probably be posted on sb_73's thread about the Prem but there is so many different facets that it's difficult to produce a concise post about the subject.

Apologies if something like this has been posted before. It explains how FFP works, although having read it there are so many variables and exclusions it's difficult to get an accurate picture of where we are at present.

I'm sure those of you that are far more intelligent than I will be able to make sense of it. The bottom line appears to be that you can't lose more than £13m a season on wages and transfers as a Championship club.

I think that's the key to our predicament, the size of the losses. Other clubs probably have better accountants.

Norwich 1-0 down at home to Sunderland, it might be a good idea to go 4-4-2 when we play them on Wednesday as they also play 3-5-2.

Jonjo Shelvey with the stupidest sending off v Spurs as he steps on Alli right in front of the ref.

Oh and the top of the Prem league table looks like it could be from 1932 ...

    Looks to me like Manchester teams 1 & 2, London 3, 4 & 5 and Liverpool 6 & 7.

U23's beat Hull 4-1 in their opening match of the season, with a hattrick for Eze and a goal for Sean Goss. Alex Baptiste made his R's debut.

Nines, why not even start with a 4:2:3:1 and use the width with two wingers?

Yes that would work as well Ski. We need to exploit the space down their flanks behind their defence. Sunderland destroyed them using 4-4-2 on Sunday. Maybe Norwich might revert to a flat back four against us.

    Nines, thanks for the reply.

It will be intriguing what Ollie will play. So
far he has clearly preferred a 3:5:2 formation, but has been open to revert to 4:4:2 (Northampton quite quickly and Wednesday 2nd half).

Let's see what is in store for us and Norwich tomorrow. What ever he play, I hope it will be successful!
