Mayo or salad cream? bit of both I like. I also add a bit of pepper sauce up in that bitch, fire it up a bit.
Supporting a club isn't a sickness. You have the sickness, runs deep in every area You know what I mean, some won't!
God - naturally - is a Saints fan. Which explains why life is mostly a mix of hope and failure. A tale told by a madman, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing - as Bill Shakespeare said, if I've quoted him correctly.
Trust me, I've had more than my share of getting my head bent out of shape. Plenty of drug induced revelations too, but nothing ever made sense the next morning.
Going to what Archers was saying about clubs that consistently win and it being a bit empty by comparison to a club that'd flip their city on it's head for a bit of glory... I'm not sure we'd match Saints in passion for a league cup win, for sure that really doesn't get our pulses racing, but for me there's no way a club like Saints will ever understand how it feels to completely decimate your arch rival's legacy using home grown talent to do it. Nothing can ever match that for me in football, out of nowhere Liverpool's entire empire was smashed to pieces as trophy after trophy rolled down Sir Matt Busby Way. Perhaps a Saints fan can say they'd piss all over us in terms of party time if they won a League Cup, but they'll just never get how it felt to be part of that period.
I think supporting your Grannys gravy is something we should all do, you only get one Granny and her gravy is always the best. It's not often that Grannys gravy disappoints but if it does we have to move on and hope that Granny does a better job next weekend. That's my thoughts on the thread anyway, pretty sure that is what it's about.
