Just a little thread for everyone to find out how much we value our own players/ starting 11. Simply copy and paste the lineup and state the amount of money those players are worth in today's market! <ok>

Davis - 1m - Keeper so a bit harder to say
    Richardson - 1.5m
    Fonte - 4m (min)
Seaborne - 1m - Really havnt seen that much of him so hard to comment personally
    Harding - 2.5m
    Guly - 1.5m - Samba! <party>
Cork - 2m - How we paid 750k for him i have no idea! Seems like the steal of the season so far!
Hammond - 2.5m - Great form so far this season and great captain
lala - Not for sale...But in all seriousness if Oxo is worth 15m he's worth 20...
Lambert - 6m - Better than maynard IMHO
Connolly - 1.5m - Quality yet fitness records and age may stutter his valuation

    Thoughts? :)

I would agree with most of that but Lambos price is a tad high for a man with little pace. Only Prem or promo wanna be's would pay that sort of cash, and i don't Ricky is quite Prem Class.

True, All it takes is a 20 goal season and his worth would soar!

I'm taking this as how much I think they are worth, not necessarily what I would like to see them sold at if bids came in.

Davis - £1.5M - Class goalkeeper and would be a good backup for a Premier league club
    Richardson - £800k
Fonte - £3M would fit into most Premier league teams
Seaborne - £750k - Showing improvement but only has 3 games at Championship level and not a lot to shout about before that
    Harding - £1.2M
Guly - £1.5M - Agree with you on that one
Cork - £4M (but realistically not for sale) - Class act, versitile and with experience through the England u-** levels.
    Hammond - £1.5M
Lallana - Not for sale - Agreed.
Lambert - £4M - Proving himself to be a quality striker and championship level as well but I don't think any Premier league team would take the punt at the moment.
Connolly - £500k - Great so for this season but at 24 he has no value realistically.

Im not sure why you think hammond is worth more than cork, lambert is worth 2.5 - 3mill but apart from that I agree

All depends on how long they have left on their contracts I guess but I would suggest the following.

Davis - 0.5m - past his peak in terms of age but useful nonetheless.
Bialkowski - 0.5m - a keeper with great potential but as yet unfulfilled.
    Richardson - 1.5m -
Fonte - 6m - worth more than Matt Mills
Seaborne - 1m - could be more of he continues to improve
Harding - 1m - can't see him being worth more than this.
Cork - 5m - future England captain? His value can only go up.
Hammond - 1m - Solid performer but not likely to attract a large bid
Schneiderlin - 4m - future French captain? His value can only go up.
Guly - 0.5m - difficult to value and he is nearly 30
    Lallana - 25m - priceless
Lambert - 4m - Age goes against him but still would be sought by teams wanting a goalscorer. I wonder how much Ipswich offered?
Connolly - 0.25m - Too old to attract more than this - probably go for free somewhere at the end of the season.

Depends whether you mean how much they are worth to other teams or how much there worth to us.

I'd go with Joey B, though I'm tempted to side with Saint_Lamden with the Lallana valuation !

I've done mine based on a fair market price, no influence on importance to purchaser or seller.

Agreed. Its all relative. How much is a team willing to buy a player for and how much does a team value their player at. Cork was unwanted at Chelsea and so £750k now seems like a bargain to us after only 3 games. His value to us already is much much higher....
Bristol City want a lot of money for Maynard (£7m?) however nobody appears to be willing to spend that much on him (at the moment). He may be worth that much to Bristol City but with only a years left on his contract they are playing a risky game.
There are so many other variables like the financial situation of both the selling and buying club, contracts, age, potential, nationality etc etc

I wouldnt imagine any club would be willing to buy Lallana for the price we sold Chambo and yet we value him much higher

Haha, didn't even see that. Wish we did have a 24 year old Connolly!

Davis - 800k - turned down the opportunity of Premiership football not long ago which proves he's still got it, he was League One keeper of the season two seasons running and still has a big part to play.
Bialkowski - 1.0m - keepers I think are more malleable than any position, he is still young and has been very patient. Always performs when called upon.
    Richardson - 2m
    Fonte - 4m -
    Seaborne - 1m
    Harding - 2m
Cork - 5m - Once he is embedded in our team and assuming we get promoted he will be in the England picture having played at every age group, captained England, captained Chelsea reserves.
Hammond - 2m - Midfield general, making light work of the Championship SO FAR.
Schneiderlin - 5m - One of our most valuable assets with International experience, in the picture for senior International call up, a great defensive midfielder which is a postion hard to come by, and big and strong for his age.
    Guly - 800km -
Lallana - priceless to us but I'd say about 10-12m just because Chamberlain is a few years younger.
Lambert - 4m - Guaranteed goals at this level, 4m for a Championship quality striker even with his age.
    Connolly - 0.5m
