Spoiler Cant spoil that Rhaegar and Lyanna married. They'll need that for when someone contests Jons legitimacy. Sam/Gilly will then all of a sudden remember. The magnificent 7 all hate and want to kill each other Tormunds reaction to Jorah being a Mormont was priceless too. The Hound telling Beria to shut up was brilliant too. Jon 'taming' Drogon was significant too because he's done what Dany took years to do. Can't wait to see if they show a future scene with the Dragons standing behind Jon with Ghost, Nymeria and her wolf pack by his side. That would be epic. Arya will kill Littlefinger or Sansa (hopefully both) by the end of this season. I also think that Bran and the NK have some sort of connection. We need an episode that focus on NK/WW intentions etc /
Spoiler Agree. The best scene of the series for me. It was done to perfection. That eye shot of Drogon was showing that he knows who Jon is. His eye also symbolised for me that Jon is FIRE as well as ICE. .
Spoiler: spoiler little finger is well over due a bit of a stabby stabby. the arya/sansa bit is a bit of fun. they are "clashing" sort of.... I deffo think the next one is going to be be ****ing epic BUT.... as i said i saw a spoiler right after season 6 describing this event and it described the last event as well.... we will have to see....
Could also signify that noise the other 'pretenders' Jon gets his hands dirty and leads by example. You can bet that he was mining the dragon glass with his soldiers etc.
A few more thoughts on this weeks GoT ... Spoiler: Spoilersoficeandfire Very big cop out having Jaime be so easily rescued. There was a much better scene for that being touted online where he is drowning at the bottom of the river watching all these other Lannister soldiers drowning beneath him in their armour before being rescued. That would have been amazing. Bronn is still a great character though. Hate him for shooting Drogon but the guy just gets it, helping set up the meet between Tyrion and Jaime, and is an overall legend. I hate Cersei, the way the actress plays her, the voice, the mannerisms ... so so so so annoying. Really hope she dies an ugly death soon, eventually. Jaime is a sop for continuing to be in awe of her as well. Wake up bro. Kill her or something, she doesn't give a **** about you Dany burning the Tarleys. I mean, she gave all those soldiers a choice ... live or die. So you can't say she's totally lost it yet, they all had a chance to save themselves and kneel. Tarleys were just too proud, too brave, too stupid, too stubborn depending on how you look at them. And that's not the death of the house as Tyrion thinks, Sam is still rolling around in his wagon lad. I loved Drogon in this scene ... the way he roars at the soldiers with dissatisfaction after Dany tells them to kneel and then gives a little satisfied grunt when he gets a few more to kneel down as a result, so funny Sam lost his **** and completely ignored Gilly telling him about 'Rhaggar' as she calls him. Gilly is very smart, maybe moreso than Sam and is reading a lot, even though she can't pronounce for ****. I hope she is the one to sort all that stuff about Jon's ancestry out as it would give the character more of a point and actually be quite appropriate. It's the right thing to leave Oldtown, the head maester I think believes in the walkers but has to play politics too much so can't really speak his mind and be effective, the others are laughable and completely closed-minded and dismissive. Jon meeting Drogon, oh my god, this was some epic ****. I don't think Dany was upset, didn't seem to have that expression, more kind of baffled and curious about the whole thing. The stuff at Winterfell is intriguing, not sure what end game Littlefinger has, other than obviously deepening the ridge between Arya and Sansa where there are already big tensions in the relationship. The stealth scene with Arya following him watching him was cool. Then seeing LF watching her in that whole flip-reverse. Is Arya gonna kill him, is she gonna kill Sansa ?? The northern lords are really fickle and have zero patience but LF is feeding them (false) info to cause it. Sansa is another very annoying character, mostly through her inability to see LF for what he is, I mean how long have you known this slippery bastard for now, how uch bad **** does he have to bring down on you before something clicks. Obviously Bran can sort this out by just being like, reality check guys, this bloke's a snake in the grass, kill him. But will that happen given his current zoned-out state ?? Gendry !! The ****ing war hammer !! What a lad, what an absolute baller. That was just epic, the guy's been waiting ready to ****ing GO all this time. So awesome. Loved it when he's like: Nah, no sword but I got ... This !! Then he smashes some feckin heads in after Davos does his whole simple smuggler act. Then Davos' reaction when Tyrion ****ing strolls down the cliffs. Well shucks that's that then you utter twat. And I loved how they had Kevin Eldon as one of the confused, stupid gold cloaks. He's brilliant. Then when Gendry meets Jon and is all like, yeh I'm Robert's bastard son mate
Yes. Jon is a unifier and he does that by getting stuck in not through political engineering, subterfuge or shows of force. Totally appropriate given the whole Stark-Targaryen thing
If what I've read of episode 6 is true major epic **** is gonna go down The synopsis/script I read for episode 5 was bang on, barring a few minor things so I think E6 is gonna be incredible, mostly focused north of the wall with the walker snatching party
Spoiler The Gendry Warhammer scene was epic. I've been waiting to see a Baratheon swing his warhammer. I always hoped we'd see a flashback of Robert killing Rhaegar on the Trident.
DON'T READ THIS SPOILER IF YOU'VE NOT COME ACROSS THE LEAKS ONLINE!!!!!! Spoiler Something involving Viscerion?
The show won't go that deep I fear. Probably there'll be another flash concerning Jon's birth but as for Robert Baratheon I think the show doesn't care about that character anymore. Could be wrong and would be cool if it proved me so though, maybe S8 will get into the history to wrap the storylines up after the white walkers are done with. Depends how that plays out actually and if there are actually any humans left !! I dunno, GRRM, Benniof and Weiss probably doesn't fully even
Spoiler: Same Absolutely. I heard that Viserion is downed and killed by The Night King and becomes an ice dragon. Also everybody ends up on the back of Drogon getting rescued by Dany, apart from Jon who is rescued by Benjen and escapes on his horse while Benjen makes a last stand against the whites and is killed. I don't know if you came across the theory that there's an ice dragon inside the wall that will emerge if and when the wall falls. That would be mad but probably not true if the Viserion thing happens Also Thoros is to be mauled nearly to death by an ice polar bear. This obviously presents a huge problem for Beric who will be on his last life without Thoros. I'm not sure how this will go. Maybe Beric can give Thoros his life with the kiss thing he bass to bring Thoros back to bring Beric back. Or maybe Thoros just bleeds to death and Beric ends up ****ed. It's the hound who eventually captures a white and drags it onto Drogon, of course it's the bloody hound, so you've got a dragon full of all these central heroes and the ****ing hound wrestling a zombie on there trying to keep it subdued. It's gonna be ****ing brilliant
Depends on these prequels etc. I'd love them to do a prequel on Roberts Rebellion etc. Also, with 'Steve Redgrave rowterning' today, it could make for an awkward scene in the future when Jon realises who he is and what happened at the Trident.
Spoiler I've come across the same spoilers as this. I was fuming I read them but couldn't resist either I've heard of the ice dragon theory in the wall, that would be epic. Don't think it will happen though as I think Bran will end up warging into Viserion. Some people think that the books have hinted at a Dragon under Winterfell too because if the warm springs etc. Next week is 79mins long I think. Can't ****ing wait the see the Magnificent Misfits fighting the NK and his army.
I'm rewatching it now. They've just arrived at the beach Spoiler Anyone else want Arya to stab Sansa in her eyes a thousand times with Needle? She's hellbent on power and is positioning herself to usurp Jon with the help of that prick Littlefinger.
Anyone watching Thronecast? The presenter hasn't a ****ing clue the moron Also, who the **** is the ****** in the green top? She keeps making things up and getting things wrong?
