Interesting article from BD`s CEO claiming he would have to be sold abroad; http://www.google.com/hostednews/af...ocId=CNG.67e03fac03ab0e28668b755978c649a9.171 I think he would be a fantastic signing for United, for those who have not seen the young maestro in action; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZULMxUOKm-o http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMDjRtLu_cA&feature=related He also excelled in Germanys recent friendly V Brazil. http://www.newdesignworld.com/press/story/401663 He seams a down to earth lad too. Is he a possible arrival or the usual speculation? Do you think Gotze could shine playing in the PL?
I think it's probably the media moving from Sneijder to someone that is currently in high profile, rightly, due to his performance against Brazil.
Most likely but he would be a better long term investment than Sneijder and I think we will sign another player before deadline day.I would be delighted if that player was Gotze.
They do, some real quality there, I see them as the only realistic challengers to Spain for 2012 and beyond.
Wonder what Gotze's buyout clause is now - it was £8 million back in December and I'm not sure he's signed a new contract since then. Could be worth a punt at that price!
Thats what I call value in a narrow market, expect him off to RM then, we will buy Joey Barton for £25m!
Have Germany changed their developmental system in the last decade or so? The amount of young talent being created, evident at the last WC, is scary.
how did we miss sahin for 8mil anyway. If gotze's value is anything like that we should be straight in
Did you not see Germany u21s destroying England in the u21 Euros 2 years ago? That team included Neuer, Ozil, Marin, Khedira, Hummelsand Boeteng. And that team didn't have Holtby or Goetze!
We didn't miss him, he agreed personal terms with Real once they met his buyout clause. Not much we could do at that point. Same as with Ozil.
aye, but i'm not sure we even tried to get him. we could have promised first team football for one We seemed to try a bit more with Ozil
