Was wondering what people on 606 thought about him, don't come on here often!

Anyway, an article I wrote on what I feel about his time at LFC and other things. Would be good if you guys are bored or fancy a read!

This is advertising, and generally against the rules but since you're actually trying to start a debate I'll let is slide, but in future please don't link people your blog. If you want people to be aware of it, then stick it in a sig or something, but don't make articles just for advertisement.

Lucas is as important to the side as Gerrard or Reina. I honestly feel that he will be a Liverpool player for a very long time and he is our captain once Gerrard hangs up his boots. He doesn't moan, bitch or whine when people get on to his back, he just lets his boots do the talking. a model pro

I wouldn't say Lucas is as important as Reina. I will agree that he has the ideal attitude. Both Lucas and Kuyt are the great professionals that all players SHOULD strive to be like when it comes to personality.

Lucas has improved in skill- but I don't think he ever deserved some of the criticism he used to receive. He's never going to be listed on anyone's world best- but he's a good player that is usefull. I'm glad Rafa, et al. didn't sell him when everyone else was criticising him.

I would happily have his name on my shirt, if I was one to have names on shirts.

The whole story of Lucas and his time at Liverpool is extremely inspiring.

The man is a true professional and to see how he has risen from all the criticism and become one of our most valuable players is incredible. He will end up being a Liverpool great when he leaves - similar in my eyes to someone like Hypia when he left.

Credit where credit is due - Lucas you should be a very proud man <ok>

dont rate him, no suprise since he became a regular we havent ended top 4.

sooner we get rid of the dead wood like him, the sooner we can challenge for top 4 again. until then we will have to do with 1 pt in homes games we should be winning

he stays on the boundry of the rules... as much as it pisses me off. he doesn't create wum threads and he doesn't spam the forum. Unfortunatly I can't ban someone for having a different opinion to everyone else.

Luckily he has pissed off some Leeds United fans which may see him get a full forum ban - here's hoping

A very good player for Liverpool and a valuable member of our squad. As others have already mentioned, his attitude and professionalism is fantastic. not only that, the abuse the lad took was incredible but he carried and proved everyone wrong.

However, he's not the finished article and I wouldn't say he's a top class midfielder. But the lad has time on his side and I hope he can add more to his game! <ok>
