Hey, this is my first post on here, had to post on this thread, music is the only think I love more than football. Loads of good bands mentioned so far, I like pretty much most of them. My favourite at the moment: Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds The Cure The Smiths Morrissey The Beatles Joy Division Pink Floyd The Who Nirvana Pixies Metallica Motorhead Alabama Thunderpussy And bloody loads and loads of folk music.

Jowler, Classic! Makes a change from most of the things posted in the thread so far, punk and rock and pop! Yeah, its more or less confirmed Jowler, he got so many votes! We still do need a another mod or two though.
Forgot to say my favourite albums and songs. Favourite songs probably Imagine by John Lennon and Love Will Tear Us Apart by Joy Division. Choosing my favourite album would be too difficult but it would be one of Closer (Joy Division), The Queen Is Dead (The Smiths) and Rumours (Fleetwood Mac)
I got my stepdad an album by Thin Lizzy a few years for his birthday and it had this one live song on it where Phil Lynott spoke to the crowd and went "Anyone here with some Irish in them?" Part of the crowd roared then he asked: "Anyone here who'd like a bit more Irish in them?"
Your into some decent music there Sarge, Queen is Dead is one of my favourites, gotta say that Substance is a better album than Closer though (IMO).
This is my favourite song off The Queen Is Dead, and that takes some doing, and one of my favourites ever
