Match Day Thread Norwich City v Sunderland

I didn't say all Sunderland fans were like this and I didn't call them Geordies.
I won't be encountering any of these idiots alone either ,whatever that is meant to imply.

My 8 year old boy told them to be quiet which got a laugh from some on the train and they did actually shut the **** up for a few minutes.

 

Hoping Maddison Pinto and Oliviera start today ,we have goals in this side just still a bit crap defending set pieces .

I reckon a Desmond today, still a lot of work to do with our defender before clean sheets are forthcoming.
If Nelson starts I'll be a little more confident of a win.

Cracking thread as usual KIO, really top stuff.

I like that line-up. Attacking.

I think with Klose in for perhaps most likely Franke (I know most fans will want it to be Martin...) and Pritchard perhaps instead of Watkins, that feels pretty close to our strongest team.

It also puts Oliveira back in his box without freezing him out entirely. Good man management - I feared it might be the last we saw of him.

I actually think Oliveira is better as a substitute anyway. Jerome gets a lot of stick, but ultimately he's brilliant at exhausting defences and making space for others.

I also think Hoolahan should only be used as a sub other than maybe cup matches now.

 

I just came in from the garden to watch this game. As it's 1:30 on a Sunday I assumed it was on one of the many Sky channels. Why are we playing today if it's not for telly?! Did Sunderland play a cup game much later than us or something?!
