Latest reports confirm that Nasri will complete his transfer to Man Citeh this afternoon for a fee of £24/25M. (Sky Sports News) (Remember they were right about Cesc)

Makes Wenger look like a chump (less than a week ago he said 'Noone is leaving').

If we sign Hazard and Zarate and a defender, this summer will have gone well.

Sure but what are the chances?
    Apparently -

    1. We were'nt going to sign anymore offensive players...Gervinho, Chamberlain and Campbell??
    2. We were going to get all our transfer activity over early!
    3. We are going to sign another defender....

If we sign Cahill, Benzema & Hazard I will literally stop complaining for the next decade.

Where did you get those earlier assumptions though? Did Wenger say that directly? Otherwise it's just speculation... I still think we are going to sign another defender and one more midfielder which is ok...not really what's required.

  6. Someone said in another thread that when Arsene wants a player, deals can be done very quickly as we have seen in the distant past. Perhaps as recently as in the case of young Mr Campbell. However these days it's mostly a case of wait and wait and then more waiting. Time and tide waits for no man. It applies to football managers too.

If we 1 or 2 of these guys, I don't know I'll do, probably go mental with excitement! What are our chances of signing anyone on the radar of big teams? Zilch, zero!

Funny though that we have problems shifting our squad players that are not up to the mark, Manure managed to sell Wes Brown, John O'shea etc etc, we can't find a home for Alumnia, B52, but these bullies will come for Fabregas/Nasri etc etc. I think we should make these guys part of the deal to sign our star players, right you want Fabregas, we'll throw in Aluminia for you!
If we don't but anyone anymore, we can at least rest easy at the prospect of our players being linked......

My latest reports confirm that this hasn't happened, so the papers and all those that believe them slavishly look like chumps.
