Will give you the tackles, was good to see him keeping up the pressure. But given that Burton where a man down, been ran ragged, and pretty much beaten, he had time and space to pick his passes. I really hope he comes good this season, this is his level, and he has the basics, but he lacks the hidden skills (finding space, angles, drawing players ect), and is too predictable
Why do clubs say that players aren't for sale when every player is. It just makes them look stupid when they are sold.
apparently City get Ryan Masons test results on Monday. That should let us know where we are with him...
What are the test results for? Healing of the skull? SO much of his recovery is going to come down to his confidence when playing.
It must be along the lines of the effect of a further head clash or similar B... or the effect of heading the football... if the experts turn around and tell him that he is essentially healed, then it does come down to confidence on his part..
I'm assuming he did then? I was at a wedding yesterday in the middle of nowhere with no tinterweb signal. I feel like I've missed out of a world of stuff
In fairness both Grosicki and Bowen exposed their full backs yesterday, because they were playing too narrow - just compare the amount of times Burton easily found their full backs in space. Difference is Bowen does actually tackle and compete for headers, Grosicki doesn't. Will either score more than the other - not sure but on evidence so far I think Bowen has the better finish (and that's not including Grosicki's missed open goal yesterday!).
