Nah it won't be a thrashing, just got a feeling they might sneak a 1-0 and there will be talk of Spurs crisis.

Yeah can't see it either tbh. Would be funny as **** if they lose though after all the guff HIAG has been spouting about them being title challengers this season.

True mate. Can't see past City tbh but you never know.

 

The defending in the first games of the season have been diabolical. But it's not a total surprise that mistakes are made on the first day whilst teams are a bit rusty.

I'd expect Arsenal, Chelsea and some of the others to tighten up a bit as the season progresses. Can't same the same for Liverpool though, I think they are going to ship goals all season.

 

I've predicted a Newcastle win on the prediction thread.

No surprise wart, first game at home in front of a very partisan crowd will probably see them play really well. I think you have your work cut out and you do have previous there.
