The very lovely Mrs Godders queued twice and had two lots as well as eating mine. Half way through the match she said she was feeling a little unwell. I told her I wasn't bloody surprised. She went straight to bed when she got home.

 

While eating my ice cream I was informed by Mr Onionman that the reason it tastes so creamy is because of a chemical additive invented by Margaret Thatcher before she became a politician, so Mrs Godders only has herself to blame...

Admittedly I'm not an avid viewer of Liverpool matches, but I've never come away from a match thinking "wow, Coutinho was unplayable"
Scores some very good goals and a very good player. Would obviously have him at Saints, but wouldn't make my premier league xi, let alone a world xi, which you would be wanting for that kind of money.

 

He's a good player, but before this mental window I'd have put him at about £25/30m. Definitely overrated.

 

More that the role he would play in the front 3 at Barca is very different to neymar (which is why they are linked to Dembele as well)

It would seem coutinho is an attempted replacement for iniesta. So the mane point is fair. And he could be cheaper than dembele. And he would rip the Spanish league apart

 

He has scored at least one worldly for Liverpool from outside the box when we were massively outplaying them and they didn't look like breaking us down . Can't remember when it was though

 

And net us a tidy sell on fee...

Forget the fee, because that makes everyone overrated.... I'm not sure. I think he is an excellent player and hugely influential on Liverpool, so I don't know yet if I'm being honest.

He is. He scores a lot of highlights-friendly long range goals (or is that just against us?). Which is great, but makes me think it masks the non eye catching stuff.

 

Coutinho is a very good player, but that's a crazy price. He's not that good.

He will however look better/improve with the quality of player around him at Barca, which a middling PL club like Liverpool can't get anywhere near.

 

Mirror guessing VVD will play if he stays due to World Cup (aka making stuff up on slow news day).

I don't know how the media have done zero research into anything. Holland have very little chance of qualifying for the world cup
