30 mins against 10 men. Its too early to say i told you so... But in four weeks time TC will be looking int the abyss.
Well, I haven't seen pancakes as flat as that game. Good thing coming out of it is we got a draw. Big experience curve for TC. We played wing football again, nothing come of it, the square balls were far and few between and we're back to low shots on target, 4 shots on target is ridiculous against an eventual 10 man preston. We didn't control the midfield and edge of the box shots were far and few between. We can't keep expecting to walk ball into goal. Can't take anything away from PNE, they fought and scrambled and defended well, even come close to nicking it by hitting crossbar.....

That goalkeeper really worries me. The one that hit the bar (not the one at the end but the one scooped up close to the goal - hit corner of post and cross bar) and their long range effort near the end of the 1st half. Either he is supremely confident or he hasn't got a clue where his goal is. Just stood and watched both.
It means you've got mail but, more importantly it means he is looking for a row somewhere and is trying to muster as much support as he can first
Two thoughts for me, and I appreciate I am going from a stream game and TV games from last year, but for me Roofe is not a winger and never will be, and with all our other midfielders, Phillips should not be first choice.
just back home bud and you are correct .roofe was out of it and phillips was better when taken off.all he did was stand around and do nothing effective.it made us narrow and easy to read..big difference when the subs came on.

Agree, should have been trade mark 'Henry' finish, high into the right hand corner of the net as he would see it. But it happens, forwards will always miss chances.
