Strange that you couldn't get it TC...came through loud and clear here, albeit with a number of annoying buffering interruptions. But after the chaos of Burns and the execrable Swann it was a real relief to get two commentators focusing solely on the match in progress...No minutes long discussions of boots colors, previous evenings escapades, pies, trips to the toilets, anything but the game we all were trying to get information on. As far as I'm concerned if I never have to listen to those two again I'll be very happy. In contrast today, despite the occasional gaps, we got two commentators who delivered, Walsh and the excellent Brian Hughes. Thank you Lord!! As for the game, Hernandez showed how lethal he is in this division, and Grosicki should have had three also (incredible open goal miss). Now the real test of how good we are comes on Tuesday...!!!
I listened on AM radio but couldn't get anything off the OWS in the way of commentary, and Viking 2 doesn't ****ing exist according to my DAB radio!
No, I'm chuffed to bits that both scored. It was only it increasing the likelihood of more players incoming that I thought was a bit of a double edged sword.
Difficult game to judge, Burton easily the worst team at this level I have seen at The KC .. Can only beat what is in front of you tho, and was great to see Hernandez looking clinical , Wolves will be a greater yardstick of the season , but we should be full of confidence going into it . I give Grosicki plenty of stick , so credit where it's due he was a real handful at times , even tho his end product was Poor mostly, his left foot really is just for standing on, but maybe that goal will change things - was impressed with hector too
I've never seen anything like it before. 5 days before the first match I called 4 different numbers at Hull City to see how I could sign up & pay for Tiger TV, ostensibly to get the live audio commentary. No-one knew what the hell was going on, including the commercial department. 2 days before the first match I called Viking & got a senior staff member, who couldn't guarantee but "thought" everything should be ready for the Villa match. It didn't happen. They reversed my credit card payment and announced "technical problems out of their control" as the issue. A free month of Tiger TV was the compensation. Today, the pre-match live audio was working fine, as soon as the match kicked-off - NOTHING. When the tin-pot ownership of a football club goes into cheap partnership with a minor radio/tv broadcaster and a web-site developer without a proven track record, who do not thoroughly test the integration of their systems, this crap happens. Unprofessional and unacceptable. To loosely paraphrase the Allam mantra"Football should be as free as the air we breath. We want to be globally respected and accessible." Laughable to say the least. At least the lads won.
It's actually a shame as I preferred the commentary. But to **** it up again is totally unforgivable I completely missed the first half.
In fairness TC, when you set your standard of stewardship so low you have to maintain your standards...
Not wanting to rub it in for those that didn't get it, but Viking's commentary was great, far better than what we've been getting. It was two people talking about the game, and in a positive manner.
Strange indeed. Which browser are you using ? I tried both Google Chrome & IE, both through my local IP and with an IP through my usual VPN. Got the site fine in all cases, but the LIVE commentary, once the match kicked off didn't work in all combos. Frustrating. I'll be calling Viking on Monday. Glad it worked reasonably well for yourself.
Excellent In the end but we scored and then sat back!!! Wtf. They were dreadful why let them in to the game. Their number 10 wasn't bad, the rest were poor. But tore them apart. FC great game it just wouldn't drop for him. ThInk he forgot Abel and had gone off when he laid it on a plate for dio and thought **** it why didn't I hit it myself. Hernandez.
