You don't get points for style. Results, results, results.
    See above.

29 shots and 2 on target is not acceptable at any level let alone in the PL.

That too. Moved it pretty well early in first half, but there were a lot of "take a touch and take stock" moments thereafter that allowed Swansea to regroup.

I'm afraid I don't associate with people like you, so we aren't "mates"

One benefit is that we are still looking at players and the window is still open for another 3 weeks. Another attacker in and I think we will be good to go.

    So just to clarify:

The problem we had last year was that we struggled to score, especially at home where we had many 0-0 and 1/2 -0 losses.

In order to address this problem we changed manager but havent added any strikers or attacking midfielders. We also played the exact same formation with the same players in each position.

And we are surprised that we still struggled going forward, didn't get enough shots on target and drew 0-0?

Some people define insanity as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome. Hmm.

The biggest change for me, was instead of constantly backpassing to Forster, the defence passed into midfield, and kept the momentum going.
Bring LeTiss in to show the boys how to finish, and we will be ok.
I can see us giving someone a "hammering" perhaps next week!

True. In the second half we slipped back into the dull passing in front of the opposition mode for a while but overall the tempo was better and we created (and missed!) a fair few clear chances today. My stream is running through the highlights and there are some pretty bad misses in there. Under Puel we rarely had many clear chances.

Yeah 2 points dropped.BUT i think we looked pretty good. We had no devine right to all 3 point just cos its swansea we played. Ps the people that are saying it was no different to when puel was in charge should prob watch the game abit closer. Compared to puel (who i liked btw) we passed the ball with alot more intent today, faster passing.we carved through there defence on a number of attacks, granted we did not score today but on another day we could have scored 3 or 4 goals.fine margins. I am positive for the season ahead

Three teams from the Solent area and not one has managed a goal. Rather a grim afternoon all the way along this part of the South Coast. Once SFC grab a brace at home in the PL I am sure the anxiety in front of goal will disappear. It is a question of when it will happen. It will but let's not throw our wonderful toys out of the pram just yet. Wait until after the international break for that.

Reading between the lines, it appears that SFC just need to move the ball a tad quicker to open up the defence and have more midfielders advancing into the box. Or am I talking absolute b***** as usual?

What an absolutely diabolical header from Yoshida. All he had to do was get it on target for ****s sake. Decent enough performance but that's a poor result.

His freekick at the end was surprisingly good, though!

They did move the ball quickly. They has numerous chances to put the ball in the net and missed them all. Finishing was really the only issue. The wing play today was top drawer.

Great point for us but with a decent striker we'd have lost 4 or 5 nil.
