Don't think I've got long to do this so need to get this post in quickly. Sadly, my Nans partner of the last 3 years passed away this evening. I didn't really know him very well but feel so gutted for my Nan who went through this with my grandad dying from a terminal illness around 6 years ago and know she's gone through it all again. He was a huge Saints fan and lent me loads of old books which I've been meaning to return for about 6 months When I left the hospital this afternoon I told him I'd go up tomorrow to tell him the score... Obviously I can't do that but hope so much that we get a good win for him. Apologies for the morbid post.
Hopefully mate I won't be on for a while anyway, I (genuinely) didn't intend on making a song and dance about this, but am gonna explain for a couple reasons. Firstly it wouldn't be fair for people to think that our mods have banned me, and secondly it wouldn't be fair for Chilcs to feel under pressure to explain something which took place in a pm and I wouldn't expect him too. I've asked Chilcs to request a one month ban for me from the Saints board which he has reluctantly agreed to. Reason being is I haven't really enjoyed posting on this board for quite a while now but can't help myself once I've had a drink. I've met probably 10+ posters off here all from different walks of life and have a lot of respect (in different ways) for all of them. I'll be honest my intention for a while was to just act a **** until I earned a ban but common sense took over. At the end of the day, I don't want to burn too many bridges which is the way I feel it's going. I know the request is in, but don't know exactly when it will happen but this will be my last post before it does. I may be posting again regularly in a month or so but not definitely if I feel like I'm feeling happier by not doing so. Again, I really* wasn't intending to make this public but feel it's better to so that people know the situation and so Chilcs isn't (potentially) put into an awkward position. *I hope and trust that (some at least) people believe me on that point. Up the ****ing Saints P.s. Depending on what time I meet my Bro in law I may make an appearance at the pub tomorrow. And there's a fair few who have my number who are more than welcome to text me if they feel like they want to

Ditto laces, Ritchie and other comments. Met you before and had a laugh, hope to see you today for a pint. Do what you feel you need to do but we are all mates on here. We will all have different opinions on different stuff but at the end of the day we all support the saints. Come back stronger and when you are ready or want to pick up with your mates again, get posting. Up the f****** saints
