Evening Guys - don't know if this has been flagged up elsewhere but Burnley have had a 12m bid for Wood rejected this evening. Only a matter of time - no definitive "Hands off" from club or manager in the last week. If we get 15m I'd be OK with it. He may never have another season like last and we have more options now. Think he's a real pro though.
According to some he wouldn’t play for us again. Curious to see if that happens Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
I'd see myself as a Happy Clappy - we'd have been in bother last year for sure, maybe this year not so much. Be interesting to see if he picks up a bug tonight though...
He hasn't invested £100 million to be bothered about £2million or so profit. We have a real shot at promotion, don't think he will blow that for £2million or so,would lose more than that in gate reciepts.
Question is Chesh, if they offer it will we take it? I think we will, otherwise the club would have been saying no sale at any price as previously. We'll see.
If the last couple of weeks has proven anything, it’s EVERY player is available if bid is high enough Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
You got the first five words correct. The rest remains to be seen and time will tell.some saw GFH and Cellino in the same light you are viewing Rad.
The Hamburg striker is exactly like Wood, lets just say Wood could be gone and be replaced by the Kraut. The Swede Healnder is also still live and could happen. Be glad when the window closes Rumours of Bridcutt & Klich not in the squad for tomoz for tactical reasons. That must mean We only use O'Kane or Viera with Phillips, dont get it unless Tommy plays one of them and puts in another striker or another attacking midfielder?
16m bid now rejected. http://www.insidefutbol.com/2017/08...ed-reject-second-premier-league-offer/346667/ Could get interesting.
has anyone stopped to think about Woody actually being fast enough for the prem ?.could Burnley actually buy better away from these shores ?.we as an example appear to have done so.surely Burnley knew he was leaving and have already got bids in for another forward or are they a bit slow.i hardly think so.
Good morning from a very dry Wakefield the wind has dropped and we have no rain.the signs are looking good weather wise and i think i will go shako hunting at Leeds train station.the vertically challenged one will not be far from the bar. very excited about today and cannot wait to hear the noise as the team take to the pitch.think some of the new boys will be very surprised at the noise levels. ticket wise not many left this morning just a few hundred for the walk ups to fight over.
