Mass walk out of supporters is never going to happen if that is what Balkan tiger is suggesting. The only harm that will do is to the team having no support. Unfortunately I don't think there is anything at all that can be done until we are rid of the Allams. They have proved time and time again that they are not remotely interested or concerned in anything we think. We can vent our fury at the game by chanting stuff and we can refuse to buy the merchandise. I just cannot see any way out of this situation.

That's why I'm questioning them attending the meeting unless they wanted different pies or something

Don't be confused, the Trust had been calling for a meeting so when offered they could hardly say no. They would also know going on previous experience how the meeting would go but still they had to be there, if nothing else to spread the word of how the meeting went. Remember the club has picked some individuals to go along with a few who represent a group, some large and some small. If the representatives of groups don't go all that will be left are a handfull of people picked by the club.

You can't demand a meeting with the club, then when it's granted, refuse to attend.

The suggestion that the Trust should have done, I find slightly bizarre, you can't know for certain that it's going to be a waste of time without actually bothering to turn up to find out.

The outcome is a surprise to no-one, but it had to be tested regardless.

The suggestion that boxes have now been ticked and the club is now in the clear, simply aren't correct, it's been made quite clear to the FA/FL that the club are ignoring all the issues the fans are raising and as a consequence, they're both being asked to act (specifically with regard to the breach of rules with regard to the lack of concessions).

I don't understand why people don't see this? Can you imagine the hue and cry from the ''apologists'' if, after their numerous calls for a meeting, the trust get their wish and then don't bother to turn up? As you rightly say, it's not a box ticked at all, not nearly ticked in fact.

Sadly I think you are right, the best line of attack is probably through the likes of the trust to put pressure on the FA/FL for the club to comply with their rules and reinstate concessions. If supporters boycotted games it wouldn't make a blind bit of difference to these morons, with the parachute payments at the moment, plus what they have generated from the sale of Snodders, Jake, Tom, Jak, Harry, Robbo, Curtis & Elmo, all that will happen they will just invest less in the team, and we would continue to spiral downwards.

I can fully understand those that do want to boycott and that is their right, but frankly it won't change the Allams way of doing things or push them any faster to the exit.

    I'd recommend this.

Instagram and Twitter use the correct names.

Facebook does not and, therefore, I refuse to follow it. Others should do the same.

Why do people need to follow it on Facebook anyway? What do you get from that?

I'm not being rhetorical, I don't follow it so don't know.

I refuse to follow our Facebook page due to the name as well, but due to it being followed by most of the population of Cairo it has over 1,000,000 followers, so us lot opting out isn't even noticed.

The Trust didn't have to call for a meeting and this certainly is not the type of meeting they should b e seeking, if that is the way forward for them. They didn't have to spread the word of how the meeting went; leave that to the club, OSC, whoever.

I do remember the selective nature of the individual invitations, I also realise that individuals, groups, large or small, have made not one iota of difference to anything positive for supporters, but they have for the club. Box ticked.

Don't you think they should press for concessions back? You are happy with primary school kids paying the same as a 40 year old?
Any examples of anywhere this happens, sport, entertainment, travel... to illustrate how popular and successful it is?

Misunderstood him. Saying people are banging the same drum is often meant to indicate the writer thinks they are harping on unnecessarily.

In which case my apologies to Chazz.

Not calling for a boycott of the game, i know many will not stop going no matter what, that's ok i understand just please when you are there voice your displeasure.

At the meeting though a pre planned walk out to the waiting press may be an idea.
