The transfer fee is supposed to reflect the value of the remaining time on the contract is it not. You're a big club but Celtic is obviously a step down in terms of football. China has more money than us but players still turn down a move there to play in the PL.

Celtic are a Champions League team, admittedly at the bottom end of those teams. But they are a better team already than 3/4 of the EPL and that is without the financial doping, on a level playing field we would win the EPL within 5 years and dominate it within 10.
