Let's hope that this is the end of it now. And that Barcelona will take LFC s statement at face value and that they respect the club enough not to carry on with their shenanigans. On the other hand, let's hope that this is what FSG mean and not some tactics to get a huge increase in the bid. If that happens their and our club's credibility will damaged. Anyway I cannot believe that Coutinho has not been spoken to and not promised that he'll be allowed to leave next summer.
i'm ****ing furious about it, that statement is definitively not definitive enough and the wording is ridiculous
You ought to look a bit deeper into the sources of the stuff you c&p, Dribs - they almost all emanate from Barca's tame Catalan press.
Sarcastic twat. Matt Le Tissier mattletiss7 Good to see @lfc not being bullied into selling by a big club. Perhaps the clubs are grabbing a bit of power back off players and agents
I'm sure he has, and I'm ok with that. Almost all South Americans want to play for a big Spanish club so it's understandable. However, we all get a season to see how our new attacking formation works and hopefully find someone else who can do a similar job when he does go. As much as anything the whole thing has been a battle of wills - Barca have long believed they only have to call and everyone will come and do their bidding, so deflating their collective ego a bit can't be a bad thing all round.
Every team has a bastard ... Utd have Fellaini, Chelsea have Costa, Sunderland have Cattermole, Everton have Barkley etc All teams seem to have one so ... Who is our bastard? I don't think we've got one and haven't had one since Suarez ... Suarez was the last bastard We need to buy a bastard
Yup sky sports sources. It seems we are as dumb as we thought and released statement without being sure of coutinho intent.
