Good Morning Everyone The YEP are reporting that Hamburg centre forward Pierre-Michel Lasogga may be on his way to Elland Road. The ex under 21 German international scored a crucial goal on the last day of the bundesliga last season to keep the German outfit in the top flight . Unfortunately that was his only goal in 20 appearances. The major stumbling block would be wages; Lasogga is understood to be one of he highest fee earners at Hamburg. It is understood that Hamburg have agreed to cover some of the wages.. Here are his best bits:- Rob Green is alive and well, and living in...... Leeds apparently!!! The 37 year old shot stopper tweeted for the first time yesterday since April Robert GreenVerified account@Robert1Green 16h16 hours ago Disappointed to miss the game last night with injury but working hard to get fit and back in contention as quickly as possible Newport County have been drawn against the mighty Whites in the next round of the Carabao Cup. The first thing they have done is to switch the fixture to Elland Road. Morning chaps. Curious to see how we pan out this weekend against one of the stronger outfits. Ok they’re not Barcelona but surely a decent win against Preston will convince any doubters we have may have left. A real push at a top two place required this season. I don’t see any real strong candidates capable of running away like last season
Ell Newport have to play match away as their pitch is not ready to be played on yet. Did anyone else watch the cock up Sky made of the cup draw last night. They got the first 4 or 5 matches the wrong way round as to who was home or away
Good Morning Eire, I'd certainly settle for a 2-0 home win. Would probably pit us in he top 3. Would keep those pesky Millwall fans quiet too...
Good morning Elland it's a lovely morning in wakeycentral.European nights are back with the visit of the mighty Newport. Preston have lost some players and are not a settled team.Grayson has gone and a new manager in charge.this is an ideal time to play them in front of a large home crowd.we should be baying for blood and thumbs turned down just like in ancient Rome. very much looking forward to this one and the return of Shako.
Wakey wakey, Wakey!!! Not sure how great Grayson was for Preston, sure he got them settled, but not sure he improved them after that. Is Beckford still with them?
I've been saying the same. They ought to be a fair test. I'm already starting to believe but a good performance and result and I'll be creaming myself (sorry if that's not a pretty image).
Morning all... Not been on much as currently in Cyprus, yesterday I had the honour of walking my stepdaughter down the aisle, it was an emotional experience I'll never forget. Back down to earth this morning, loving the Leeds wins, sunshine and positivity all around
TGIF, Evening folk, I'm hoping not to have indigestion on sunday morning, will I be able to stay awake to watch the match?, I don't know as going for drinks on saturday evening. For what it's worth we are going to be great against PNE Saiz, Alioski and Klitch with Pablo as impact player for last 20 minutes.
Leeds United can today announce Republic of Ireland international Eunan O’Kane has penned a new four year contract with the club. please log in to view this image
Yet another 4 year deal, never known it and wonder why these are long contracts? is it to scare off buyers or an investment? Worried about the Hamburg lad because hes a mirror image of Wood and that means a replacement in my mind Green is a problem as we know hes No2 and at his age needs to get game time, so he must be looking elsewhere
