  1. I don't think you would.

In fact, I think they'd each regress at CFC, away from Poch's magic touch.

  2. No, it wasn't that.

In fact, he acted quite honourably, giving up his interest in Chavs, giving us one more (decent) season, and then moving abroad.

It was his subsequent tapping up of Bale that ****ed me off.

Is that what he called it?
Did he say it was yours and his little secret and bad things would happen if you told anyone

That's it in a nutshell. The premier leagues last deal with Sky was for over £5bn, (a raise of over £2bn from the previous deal). God knows how much that's worth to each club, but the bar has been raised on players salaries as a result. If the spuds don't want to pay, there are plenty of other clubs who will.

You do realise very few player contracts come to an end, don't you. Either sold or offered a new one long before?

We won't both fit, you jump out and let me get in. After all you spend most if your time in it, it's only fair that you let others have a go from time to time.

See? Assume that all of that's true.
That doesn't equate with Murdoch or Abramovich's high scale corruption. Not even close.
It's exactly what I was talking about.

I didn't see the whole exchange between you both as the thread had so much crap in it. I just say your comment that he should have had an extended ban which he did. Ref had a mare all round that day

AK claimed that you didn't appeal against Vardy's red card because you didn't want to risk him being charged with improper conduct.
You pointed out that he actually was charged with it, totally defeating his claim.

I've only seen £150k starting wage but up to £200k in bonuses. I imagine they'd be appearance, goal and assist bonuses. He obviously triggers them often.
If it's true then you really can't blame them.

They're being paid mid table wages to play Champions League football. It's time for Levy to decide whether Spurs are going to be a big club or whether Spurs are going to be a 6th/7th/8th placed club.

It's not like you can't afford to pay the money, either.
