Lets all laugh at Leicester City

I think it would be a bit hypocritical of us to ban Leicester users after the... very free movement of people between the Leeds and Leicester boards last night. We're all for a bit of inter-club banter anyway, we've only had to ban one user (Whole-lot-of-Holt, need I say any more?!) and we don't edit people's posts when we're getting the mick taken out of us either.

I don't think the more sensible LCFC fans were under an illusions about how difficult it would be in this league. We were favourites for the league in 2004-05 and finished 15th, and in 07-08 and got relegated! We haven't got a very good reputation when it comes to the favourite tag. If there were some LCFC fans doing the whole Billy Big-Balls act, then I'm sure they're feeling very embarrassed today

 

Thats a very time specific indian takeaway?? Also i think you need to wind your message in a bit when you say 'ALL' of you think you will completly destroy this league. Because if you look back through your boards, im pretty confident that most of our lot on here have always said its a difficult league, our starting 11 is completly untested and new so will need time and we still need a winger and supporting striker for Nugent. I think a lot of our problem is the bookies and the media making us joint favourites with WHU and the media deciding that if Sven doesnt take us up this season then we have failed, should consider selling the club before moving to somehwere depressing like Coventry and then consider suicide! I think its all a bit blow up really!

i like your optimism, just for the record i have never said that your going up and i said you'll be contending for play-offs all season and that is still my view. You've bought players but only **** players that dont give you anything special. Sven is the most overrated manager of all time and your best signing (Matt Mills) who you spent far too much on didnt play against bristol instead the idiot that is Sean St. Ledger (another inspirational signing) played. You guys need a good goalkeeper, left back, centre mid, winger and striker to make you a good team. A lot of room for improvement considering th amount you've spent and the amount of players that you have brought in

 

After three games of last season, Swansea had three points (like us) and had won one and lost two (like us). They didn't do too badly last season did they?

Swansea and Norwich both got off to unremarkable starts last season. When the team gels, it will be in full working order. It's a mystery how long that will take and how effective that will be with 11 new signings to bed in.

 

Swansea didn't try and buy the league though.

 

If you can buy the league then how much does it cost?

We still have to get more points then everyone else, we still only get 3 points for a win
