Anyone else notice that all the players getting new contracts & new players coming in are all on 3 & 4 year deals. This must be to ensure we get a decent price when selling or am I missing something.

We get promoted we look to offload players like Cooper sont we, but who will buy him at a high price as he still has 3yrs on present deal? We dont want to keep him on wages but if nobody wants him at top dollar we lose out dont we? That was always my problem with Brown as he refuaed to come to us because he preffered to do nothing for 18mths earning prem money but not playing or even training. He came to us when he ran his contract down the greedy cnut

Told him Rads would be fantastic and he would have to wait for nutjob to feck off before he splashed the cash - Kev was having none of it.

Mind you he had a very dubious chaperone for the day!! <whistle>

Think it was the Shuffled Wendies game and you might not have been there??

Still think you're wrong about Cooper. If Pennington is indeed out for a significant number of games then you might get a wee surprise if we consistently play the Cooper/Pontus/Wiedwald core.

Rob Green has a knee injury. May be fit for Preston...

He's had a better start than Green last year! Personally I'd rather have Silvestri, but hey-ho, got to support the present incumbent.

Unrelated fact: I've just finished watching the worst Steven Segal movie, ever (and there are loads to choose from!). Avoid 'End of a Gun' at all costs!

And I said I’d hoped you were right and you were. I still
Maintain Cellinos cleaning up of the previous mess played a big part in the Rad buying the club. We’ll never know for sure of course

Cellino had to clean up the mess before anyone would buy it, so to be fair to the nutter he did and kept quiet all season which must have hurt him. So thanks to Cellino for his last season, but well done Radz.

WJ I have nothing against Cooper because he does as well as I expect him to do. Hes consistent and besides the odd clanger I notice he has another string to his bow. He sees a long range pass & drops it over the top like Stevie Gerrard. So agree he may be better given a longer run, but for me he is behind Pennington, but bound to get game time with either suspensions or injury to Pontus

If that is at me I cant see a conversation. I am still not convinced that rads way is going to work.
it still has potential to be like Cellinos first season with players from across the globe foisted on a hapless manager with no experience... Time will tell.

I don't like the price increases as they are not justified given our still comparative low wage structure and nett transfer spend.

If fans are going to see three or four Leeds goals in every game, that’s surely worth an extra two quid

£39 for one seat is damn pricey and way out of touch.

But the Opera costs me and Glory £200 for just a minor box seat, so it's not bad at all
