On another forum, many years ago, there were a number of Gooners utterly convinced that Reyes was a better player than Ronaldo.

Reyes of course went on to replace Dean Gaffney in Eastenders.

In fairness, Ronaldo was god awful in his first season at United.
All those ****ing step overs and no end product, everyone used to call him twinkle toes.

Talk about ugly duckling........kid did alright though in the end, becoming the second best player in the world.

 

If you watched him play every game for United that season it was obvious that he was going to be a very good player. The kid had a ridiculous amount of talent. He was never going to be a flash in the pan like Cantona.

Hang on, I checked the list of Serie A winners and it didnt list Paul Pogba as ever finishing top of Serie A.
Infact there has never been a team called Paul Pogba in Serie A at all......weird.

Maybe it is just because he has realised Pogba wasn't very good last season, and they spent £89m on a name. (A name that they gave away for nothing a couple years back too ).
