Very much doubt that PGF, it would disrupt the team too much. If he plays for us again it will be after the transfer window imo

Would it? He's been training with the first team since they came back from America.

Its not as if he's been banished and told to train on his own.

True but there has to be an element of doubt in PC's mind as to whether Siggy will be available. With this in his head PC has to concentrate his time and efforts on the likes of Routledge, Fer, Fulton and get them ready for Saturday because as far as he knows, Siggy could leave Friday night.

That's why I'd stick him on the bench. I'd rather Gylfi come on with a broken leg than have Fulton come on if we are chasing the game.

This whole situation is pathetic, he's a contracted player & should be able to play for us until a 'deal' is completed. Absolute nonsense, just happens to be our best player too. Fvck the Yanks for getting us in this position, should've been 'not for sale' & that's it!!...

I can't see Siggy even being on the bench which grates because Everton are having an effect on our season.

We do have Routledge, Fer even Carroll ahead of Fulton, who I don't think is that bad, but I take your point Valley, he's not so hot if we're chasing the game <ok>.

What if we win on Saturday? what if Everton can't beat Stoke? how will that effect things?

On the Siggy saga, a pessimists might think that our American boys are holding out for the cash with no intension to keep hold of Siggy. Their concern being that our American boys are simply trying to squeeze the last drop out of an asset and their worry being they will flinch in the end and accept a deal, £30-35m, they could have made months earlier so freeing up the summer to go shopping.

An uber pessimist might feel that he or she cant trust our American boys because they'd already proved how dangerously dumb and naive they are by signing up Buffalo Bob to nurture their interests. They may feel this stupidly ridiculous action justifies the hypothesis that instead of knowing anything about the business of football that they actually knows **** all, about anything.

But that's pessimists for you, always thinking the worst.

Hope I'm wrong but I think we've got another three weeks of **** stories surrounding Siggy with no stories to eagerly read about players we're interested in or are in negotiations with or are trying to sign to bolster our squad and I'm an optimist.

The situation may be satisfactory from a perspective of maximising your transfer fee, but suspending other critical transfer needs after last season, just goes to show once again how trully stupid our board of nuggets are, you just couldn't make this stuff up, Jinx & Co strike again........ <ok>

You'll not see Siggy play for us again, Mark my words well Valley, you have been reading this farce all the wrong way.

You said he was gone weeks ago <whistle>

Either way, th Yanks greed has ****ed us over. The season now starts without our 2 best players, and it's going to take a month for any new players to settle in etc.

Yaldom having medical at Huddersfield. Yet another full back we're not signing when every man and his dog knows we need another right back.

That's down to the club telling all and sundry that our transfer dealings are on hold due to the Siggy saga, you really couldn't foresee such ineptitude from our Swansea board, particularly after last seasons debacle, truly amateur stuff..........<ok>

Just about sums up our transfer policy, these Yanks are looking pretty childish, when you throw Bob the builder in the last Transfer window as well.......<doh>

Indeed! and what part of that don't you see? Has he played for us since the Toffees opened the transfer talks? like I said he's history and he'll not play in white again so just move on, what I can't stomach is how all this has ruined our transfers in, our pre-season has been overshadowed by this farce, and our first game is only days away with no replacement for our most influential player in sight, how long will Siggy's Spanish replacement wait?...............<ok>

And that will cost us more, and nullify what we are holding out for with Siggy............<ok>

"Clement said he is happy with his communication with chairman Huw Jenkins and the club's American majority shareholders over the deal, and claimed that he is content with their handling of Ronald Koeman's attempts to lure the set-piece specialist away from South Wales"

    http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/swansea-city-boss-paul-clement-13459352

So, it was Koeman all along who tried to gyppe us? and seems like we told him to get ferked. No wonder he looks like he's about to puke through his fingers when he's asked about Siggy these days.

Doesn't change a thing though, we're still in a Mexican stand-off with Everton and Siggys agent

We are a joke in the transfer market and slowly turning into a joke of the club. Zero spent, squad weaker than last season and no signs of anyone signing and the season starts in 2 days. There was me thinking maybe the ****ers who are on our board actually meant it when they said that they wouldn't let what happened last season happens again. well maybe that's true it wont happen last year we stayed up and this year I really fear fo us.

I am watching all these clubs breaking their transfer records and bringing in quality, yet we have not done much, Abrahams looks good and not convinced about Messa yet. So our squad looks so weak for the start of the season it is worrying. But the yanks will be happy as they are swelling their bank accounts. I am so pissed off at our lack of signings and ineptitude of the board, I am glad I haven't renewed my ST.

Means not much nowadays though does it, what it does mean that if we want to sign him we will have to pay more, didn't Siggy sign a new contract last year.
