I'll claim this in advance please @PISKIE <laugh>

Rose's comments are both out of order and have been released at the worst possible time, he's as good as handed in a transfer request with that interview.

    <laugh> Levy the Slave owner.

And you think your players are going to be happy with that ?
Wake up and smell the coffee mate, Rose is voicing the unrest at Spurs with your chairman's penny pinching.

That interview would have sent shock waves through Danny's wallet. It's not just him it'll basically be all of the players. Players like to win things in their career and get the recognition in financial terms too. This Spurs model has been running for nigh on 56 years and is yet to come up with the goods.

You can't blame the Sun for Rose's comments, he said them, they didn't hold him down and make him say them.

  6. Rose has been out for a long time. As everyone saw last year, we didn't really miss him, finishing our highest ever in the Prem.

    No player is irreplaceable.

If Rose is determined to leave, he will leave, if only by running down his contract. That is true for any player.

What is likely to get him shifted out of Spurs faster than anything is any belief of his that this Spurs side cannot win things. I think both Levy and Poch demand that our players believe in themselves and the team, and won't want anyone at the club with a losing mentality.

As for Rose, he has to be careful, because he doesn't yet know if he is going to be another sick-note player. The injury that he suffered is one of those that can keep coming back to niggle at a player and dog him for the rest of his career. There is no guaranteeing that, if he goes to somewhere like City or United, that he'll get much, if any, real game-time. Spurs have a history (ala Ledley King) of being able to nurse crocked players through these kinds of injuries, to ensure that they continue to make a real contribution to the squad.

Ah, the old Spurs fan denial scene, we've watched this unfold many times before.

They will be looking to leave next summer, without question.
Especially if Kane gets another Golden boot.
Then it will be months of "We will only sell him for the right price" "Levy wont sell him for less than £150m" "He will get the best price".

I swear everytime a Spurs fan mentioned Levy they jizz their Y-fronts.
I bet not a one of them would refuse to tongue his ball bag if given the chance.....its very weird.

Then why would he say it? It's either a warning or a wake up call.

I'd actually agree with all of that, a realistic assessment. No team should be keeping players who don't believe they can win. Myself and many others said the lack of ambition will bring out the worst in some players. It's only natural that players will move for more money, using the 'I want to win trophies' smoke screen.

I think a Shaw/Rose swap is on the cards, I can't see either player resisting the move.

Is there something about context you don't quite understand?

I'm sure he made some comments. I'm equally sure that the sun has put them in the most sensationalist context.

There's a few Spurs fans who don't tend to cream their knickers every time Levy's name is mentioned, Spurlock doesn't seem to buy it in particular, but one or two on here are basically balls deep in him at any given moment.

If the market continues it's current trend for much longer, they'll drop off and fall away and that's when the fans will look at the numbers and say there's no ambition, it'll be Arsenal/Emirates all over again.

Amazing isn't it ? He's been there nearly 17 years, sold their best players and won what ? A poxy Carling cup trophy <laugh> Even Wigan and Portsmouth have been more successful. And yet the Spuds suck his cock like he's their Messiah.

    Not that I'm complaining :)
