Hows your short term memory?
I found while I was smoking it was perfect, but in the years that followed it started getting worse. Pretty much photographic throughout my 20's, found that very frustrating. Saying that, two other changes happened around the same time, I had babies & started running my own business......so it might well be coincidence!

Not noticed anything but then I was so permanently chonged it was always going to be an improvement

I always thought the same tbh mate, smoked it on and off for 10 years and last 6 months I smoked it I didn't even smoke ***s.

Found it easier than I thought really though I still miss it. My problem is that its all or nothing.

If I could take it or leave it I'd still have the occasional smoke but I can't. It's either not at all or pretty much all day including fatties before work etc.

In that situation not at all was the only choice really

In the last few weeks I've even become a social smoker only smoking ***s when drinking which I NEVER thought I'd do.

At the end of the day you won't give up anything unless you truly want to, and it has to be for yourself not someone else.

You'll probably find one day you might get a sudden feeling you can stop and that's the time to try with everything you can imo.

 

That's bullshit. His statement was very unlikely to be written by him and he is covering his arse so it he doesn't look as transparent as it actually is, i.e. he's being a greedy twat. There are a few you know in the media that have given us some positive press and sympathy, but it's hard to get past the hurricane of scouse suck ups.

 

The one thing I have learned from this thread is that we operate within the transfer market according to a set of principles based on integrity, morality and sound intelligence. The Scousers behave exactly as you would expect from a city populated by petty thieves and benefit cheats.

 

If you think we never 'tap up' players as well in the strictest sense of the phrase then sorry but you're being unbelievably naive.

It's common practice now, contact is made through agents etc. to establish if there's interest before any negotiations regarding fee happen.

I'd say in 90% of deals now the fee is the last thing agreed.
