Show me a forum with complete harmony and I'll show you a good moderator, even on Mumsnet I bet they're shouting about how baggy each other's fannies are as insults.

Lots of good lads on that board, all shapes and sizes.

David Rudisha's WR run in 2012 was astonishing. He literally sprinted 800metres.

When he was asked about what was going through his mind he said something like he'd decided just to "go for it".

I ****ing love Athletics, shame so many bastards cheat to pollute the sport.

Used to love it too, and still watch it.

Can't watch it without accusing everyone in my head though, ruined it for me really. I guess the same goes for cycling for their fans...

Watched a really good documentary about doping last night on netflix 'Icarus'

    An interesting fact

out of the last 31 fastest times recorded in History over the 100 metre sprint, only 9 were legitimate runs, the rest had drugs in them...them 9 runs were made by Usain Bolt

It's tainted i'm afraid...my son does it in 12.9 seconds...a few drugs and he can bump up to the 11 second barrier..a few more and hes looking for the record.

    Game on.

Sadly I think during the 80s and much of the 90s the majority were at it, including some of our own. The East European countries were brazen about it but it would be very surprising if the Yanks also didn't have a programme back then.

Stick Mo Salah on a years course of drugs and he'll hit 9.7 seconds. He's on 10.19 now.

That documentary I posted shows how ****ing easy it is to cheat and get clear results, worth a watch. the guy that made it hit gold as he didn't expect to uncover what he did so easily.

An 800 meter sprint is almost impossible , takes a special athlete and a proper frame of mind and probably a stretcher at the finish line . I respect the 800 meter runners more that any other track athletes

They should have two different events.

One for clean athletes and one where they can take what they want and see how far they can push it.

The Ben Johnson Story was a bit tough to take for me , but Jonathon Bailey followed magnificently to get us back on track ( both Canadians ). Loved when he ran against the 200 meter man Johnson from the States and Johnson pretended to come lame when he knew he was beat . Lame indeed

Heidi Krieger. Drugged her up so badly that she became Andreas Krieger.
