Plays Call of Duty and has never served a day in the military.
What is it with these American conservatives and this bullshit?
Trump did the same (again) yesterday, slagging off someone for not serving in Vietnam:

Blumenthal did six years as a marine reservist, rising to the rank of sergeant, but didn't spend any time overseas.
Trump dodged Vietnam call-ups on numerous occasions, claiming to have bone spurs, which then went away. That doesn't happen.

I've worked in Africa for long time, I can kinda understand where Trump is coming from, no sympathy though, you make your bed you gotta lie in it.

It's quite ironic that two of the recent leaders of the "more patriotic" of the parties have gone out of their way not to serve their country in Vietnam, even more so if you remember what they did to Bush's opponent Kerry, who did serve on a place of personal danger in Vietnam. This was the "Swift Boat Campaign", which is IMHO perhaps the most disgraceful politically negative campaign ever run considering it was undermining a real war hero in favour of someone who had strings pulled for them in order to avoid danger, and at the same time was presented as a great "war leader" in the "war against terror".

SD figured it below your post. Africa is far more risky than Europe. If you are white it doesn't matter how fat/ugly/old/unshaven you are there is always a never-ending stream of beautiful young women trying to bed you. The CBD is Nairobi is incredible, flies around a piece of sh!t is the only way to describe it. You can hold out for so long but once you had two or three beers the inevitable happens. Just make sure that you are well condomed up, but that in itself gives you a sense of invincibility.

If you turn up to alone to an African hotel it is not unusual for the receptionist to say, "I see you are alone sir, do you need a woman?". Even if you say no the second you sit down in the bar for a beer/snack the 'flies' start to descend.

Try the Marble Arch or Jacaranda in Nairobi, the waitresses are particularly friendly in the Jacaranda, top restaurant too. If you get as far as the Bukavu, DRCongo then any hotel. The Residence, Pleine Midi are rough but do the trick (lock your valubles away, a friend was once drugged and every thing taken). You get a better class of woman in the Orchid. We joke rooms in the Orchid come with hot and cold running women, but its not far from the truth. The Panorama is a good bet, nice hotel with own night club. Even Sissoko would score in there.

    We went on
[QUOTE="deedub93, post: 10823740, member: 1011968" hot and cold running women[/QUOTE]

I was going to say "Who, other than an Eskimo, wouldn't a cold running woman?" However, having given it further thought, in the heat of Africa, a cold woman could be just the thing.

My second wife could actually find her niche........coldest woman I ever married.

I am and was before I was 30. If you're going to get divorced, do it when you've got nothing.

    Worst own goal ever?

1-0 down after 14 seconds and the opposition haven't touched the ball! <laugh>

And that's why you never kick the ball directly at your own goal. No idea why the keeper was on walkabout, though.

Onomah's currently making his first start for Villa, who are playing Colchester in the League Cup.
    It's approaching half-time and they're 2-0 up.

Where's he playing? It seems to me he has the makings of a quality CM, but won't produce enough goals to play further forward for a good PL team.
