Unfortunately it looked like ligament damage right from the off. If you remember way back a similar innocuous twisting of the ankle effectively ended Micheal Bridges career. Not suggesting this is as serious but it's a massive blow both to the player and to us.

No problem...I still haven't worked out that when you reply to a post sometimes you have to clarify to what you are referring. Could be worse though I could have used the terms we/us/all etc and be accused of speaking for everyone !
I think you'll find that that particular part of someone's arsenal is exclusively reserved for me - along with a few other exclusives like being the gateway to the mods, a mod wannabe, & all that pish.
We all have our role to play on this board. Chippy is obviously the protagonist. Whilst you WJ, well you are the valiant defender of the the truth. Haven't a clue what I am...maybe others can come up with some whimsical observations as to the parts we all play.
Once or twice, it could be argued that it's just a twisted game. But relentlessly? It's gone on for quite some time now, from before you joined. The MO is the same every time. I've even taken a couple of long sabbaticals & when I've taken a look as a lurker, I've noted that the abuse has continued in my absence. And yet it's always my fault - even somehow when I'm not here. He's a classic abuser. He doesn't even know he's doing it most of the time, or why he does it when he does realise what he's doing. I come on here to talk about the club I love. Not to be abused. I'm getting sick of it.
A good attempt to lighten the moment, but I'm afraid it's too late for that. Also, if you look up the meaning of the word 'protagonist', you might want to withdraw your comment. Abuser is more accurate. A very high proportion of his posts (not just aimed at me) are abusive. He will use terms such as 'banter', or 'casting', 'fishing' etc. Even when people make it clear they don't want to know. But he persists. Always.
FYI- i like reading your posts. Some people post random/off topic things that are not related to the football. I merely skim these and do not care for their content. Well thought out posts such as yours give an alternative view to things happening surrounding the club, that sometimes i overlook and do not consider. That is why i vist the board
